I live in Green Bay. 65 years born and raised. I remember that drive twice every summer to Fond Du Lac to visit relatives during my childhood.
Nice trip from Fond du lac to green bay (home of the green bay packers) along interstate and us highway 41 First time seeing a interstate and us highway with the same number runs together
Super nostalgic. Grew up south of fond du lac and took this route often. Miss that area.
Nice ride on I 41/US 41 North
A tight fit in a few places as the old Federal route was upgraded to an interstate. US 41 continues north to it's terminus at Copper Harbor, MI/Lake Superior. Last time I was on this road, it was only partially four-lanes and not yet a freeway.
I lived in Appleton for 50+ years and moved to Tennessee last year. I don't miss the winters or crumbly, patched roads up there.

It actually fits nicely between I-39 to the West and I-43 to the East. Some people wanted to extend I-55 from Illinois to Green Bay. But nobody was really interested in that idea.
