Facts, I put Ham & Cheese or Bacon & Cheese in Mine before I put it the waffle iron & then put a Poached egg on top, so good, Hobi put me into them In The Soop & I haven’t looked back.

It wasn’t meat; it was either flavored butter or another ice cream flavor - a croffle is a waffle with the texture and consistency of a croissant!

tonkotsu is a type of ramen, but tonkatsu is pork cutlet! similar sounds so i see why there was some confusion 😅

That's not meat, Hobi made Croissant Dough in a Waffle iron, with a variety of fruits and ice cream, they had to tone down the Quality because in the Soop is paid Weverse Content. He made another one with cheese after tho.

Chi-maek is a classic combo in Korea Chi (chicken) Maek (maek-ju/Beer) So-maek (Soju/rice based like vodka) ...soju and beer

We Have Golden Syrup In Australia (we call it Cocky’s Joy) and we use to put in biscuits & slices (kinda like treacle) but we use Maple Syrup & Butter to Pour over our Piklets, Waffles & Pancakes. I’ve never put Golden Syrup on Pancakes/Waffles it is way toooo sweet for that.

You never heard of chicken and waffles? Why so mind boggled at the idea of sweet + savory combo lol 😆 Sweet things like french toast or pancakes are often paired with something savory like sausages, eggs, bacon or hash browns. Croffle = waffle made from croissant.

@@Jurnalist_ it didn't look like chicken to me, I'm not sure what kind of meat it was, or if it even was a meat topping. It just seemed like you were very mind boggled at the general idea of savory + sweet overall, so I just named chicken and waffles as an example haha. There's quite of a lot savory + sweet pairings in American food. Same with Korean cuisine, just with different kinds of food. For Korean hotdogs, they coat the outside with a thin layer of sugar. Maybe sounds unappetizing to some ppl, but I think it's pretty good. If you want to see V cook some tasty Korean street food for customers in a restaurant down in Mexico, highly recommend the recent reality show he was in called Jinny's Kitchen. He went to Mexico with a couple of other big name Korean actors (like from Parasite, Train to Busan, an upcoming Marvel movie, etc.) to open a restaurant. The show is basically them running the restaurant, cooking food and interacting with the customers, exploring the town, etc. You can see them cook all kinds of tasty Korean street food, like the Korean hotdog. And yes, some customers did recognize them lol.

I think it's just a phrase he uses, like "ok I'm going to watch this". "Smokey approved Korea" is when he is watching things that center around korea/koreans. "Smokey approved" is just others things
