I’ve rarely had a good experience with a Hyundai dealer. I love my car but the dealers are a joke. I’m out of warranty now with my Rally so it’s all on me now, anyway. Glad to hear it all worked out and you weren’t out of anything other than the 300$ for the clutch. Hope to see more content.

i think im having a rod bearing knock/ or a hydraulic tensioner but im still under warranty they have the 100,000km powertrain warranty so im hoping theyll fix it

I have a Hyundai sport Sante Fe 2013 104,000 miles . My engine ceased a month after I got a diagnosis test from them. Left weeks later my engine light came on and then 1 or 2 month after my engine ceased up. I was told my factory warranty expired but because of the previous owner extended 120,000 warrant my engine is under warranty. My car has been at Hyundai for 2 weeks now and we are waiting for response from Hyundai America for approval. They asked me for records of oil change and I provided them with them from Jiffy Lube.I have no way around with my two kids but public transportation . This has never happen to me with all the cars I’ve had What really truly bothers me is that the ABS light was on during the diagnose check and I notice it’s a recall on that they didn’t fix it . The man that was working with me asked me am I planning to keep my car for a long time. The answer was until the wheels fall off makes me think he knew something was going to happen . My experience with him was difficult. This time I’m working with another gentlemen who’s very nice. Hopefully today I hear good news I still have payments on my car and I can’t afford to have this kind of set back .

Just took my rally to the dealer for leaking valve stem seals!

Does the mileage count when it comes to the warranty Because I just have the same issue My engine just broke down yesterday when I was driving and the oil where all over . I do Uber and I have 144000 mile on it I bought the car 1.5 years ago The car is at the dealership

It would depend what warranty they gave you , i got mine brand new 0 miles so i have 10year or 100k miles whatever comes first but im not sure how their used car warranty is you would have to ask your particular dealer.

I bought the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid limited in 2015 brand new 0 mileage for doing uber and after I reached around 94000 for some reason my car engine broke down and than took the car to the dealer. Since I had warranty it was covered under warranty. But what I don’t like is dealer kept the car three months for replace the engine. As I told you earlier that the purpose of this car was doing uber and that’s the only car I had. I was out of work three months. Dealer didn’t give me alternative options that I could use Hyundai is the worst car even company give you 100k mileage or Ten years warranty. Which one come first. It was first car that I bought and it was given me great lesson. That I would never forget!

Under dealer Hyundai warranty...had to be replaced. They did not pay.... Still haven't gotten money for repair or car rental....PLEASE STAY away from hyundai cars.... They aren't customer reliable... Don't.

my buddy bent the hell outta his suspension on a Veloster N.. they won't cover it. They even said to me when I bought mine it will be covered from damage on the track... i'm so confused

Tell him to get a lawyer thats bs they advertise those cars as track ready and everything and now they dont want to cover it. They show those cars on tracks and talk about the handling and all those specs yet don’t expect us to try what they are showing the car can handle sounds sus.

Damn I’m sorry about the jiffy lube problem. I’ve had an issues with them too. I just got my 2020 elantra sport an oil change there. I’m gonna change my own oil from here on out 💯💯💯💯

yah its better that way or just take it to the dealer they charge less and if anything happens it will be on them you know.

Jeez, sounds like jiffy lube owes Hyundai an engine for starving that thing of oil with the lower flow filter
