Yes, the procedure will work on most Hyundai models -not all. As for the fix lasting, that is not really in the cards. The overarching problem is Hyundai does not use the best possible touchscreen available and as a result, using the procedure above **will** have to be repeated over time.

Do you have the exact same model and year of Hyundai Sonata? The buttons and locations differ based upon the model year.
