I have Santa Fe year 2012 model fully automatic, key less entry etc., Its power is very high with 197 BHP but it is not suitable for racing because you have to accelerate linearly for longer life or whatever , it would not jump or give you whoomph factor but may take about 8 seconds to touch 100 kmph. The car specific nature is extreme comfort or just too much soft shock absorbing platform or system so much so that you feel you are sitting on an air bubble or astride a butterfly and travelling. Some people for sure do not like so much soft shock absorbers. There is no body roll at all and no vibrations on any thing you may touch . This Santa Fe I drove ( single) from Hyderabad to Somanath in Gujarat , and back. While coming after a day, I did not stop the engine ( I kept it running even while I was taking lunch) until I reached just 100 km from Hyderabad. It gives 11.5 km on highway for sure when you drive just about 100 kmph and it gives about 7 kmph in the city. I could even achieve 13 kmph while coming from Gujarat ( starting at Rani ki Vav) but not always. The maintenance is very high , servicing means 6 liters of Oil and cost can be above 16 thousand and parts are damn costly. One ORVM had cost me 15000 rupees. One drive shaft 35000 rupees. tires

Right Santa Fe is very comfortable car

I have Santafe 2015 fwd AT, 1.2 lakh km driven fully maintenance in hyundai service centre , it gives 17-18 km/l in highways and in city 12-14 km/l . Overall if you drive smoothly it gives 14-15 average. I have KIA seltos 1.5 NA petrol and figo 2014 1.4 tdci , but I always prefer Santafe whether it’s highway or city . It gives wonderful mileage considering is size and power . It gives more than Innova , fortuner, xuv700 ,hector plus , safari .

Sir, 2016 santafe 4w drive with 210000 kms, hyundai service records. Is it good to buy?

I get 17/20 if I drive around 100 in city 8/9km coz too much traffic in banglore

Bhai leney ki soch rhaa tha main 2015 model but jaisey apney iski service cost and parts cost batayi hai toh ab i have changed my mind. Average bandaa jhel jaye par maintenance main ye bikwaa degi.

I have santa fe 2012 model full loaded. It is far developed or advanced when compared to the likes of fortuner or Innova types. It is very much sold in USA also. It is not successful vehicle MARKETING VISE BUT A VERY RELIABLE SUV. And is is very comfortable, very sophisticated and with special style and character.

How much is the service cost..???
