Brilliant video, glad I watched this before trying to swap the side light!

Brilliant! I was so encouraged by this video that I decided to replace my light bulb myself. I soon discovered that my Tucson ix35 has an additional difficult to see and reach bolt that needs to be addressed. After finding that it was easy. If you don't know about it I assure you ample amounts of confusion and frustration.

Cheers for doing this video. Just what I needed this morning. Had car 5 years and been dreading a nearside side light bulb going due to lack of space behind headlight and it did last week 😭 Refitting was a bit of a wrestling match but Job completed now thank you. 👍

Just today I had to change my H1 head lamp. This video provided the answer. Much grateful.

Spent ages scraping the back of my hand trying to change sidelight on passenger side (the even tighter side!) - thought taking headlight out would be too much work - Thanks for the video 2 bolts and a wiggle and jobs a good un.- TY Auto Tinkerer

Thanks for that. I'd got as far as removing the screws but was worried something might break while pulling out the unit but can see it takes a bit of force. You got yours to go back in a lot easier than mine; there is a plastic snap-in lug that has to be lined up that I found a bit tricky.

Spot on, thank you! I found it easier to wriggle it out when I released the top bumper screws and clips. I did it as part of a wing change - someone backed a van into it.

an suv backed into my getz while i was standing behind and my getz went flying into me.. the only car ive ever been hit by was my own damn car then mum hit a kangaroo in it im really shit out of luck with people fucking up my car

Thx for that video. Tried to change that bulb without removal of the headlamp. Gave up and now i understand why :)

THANK YOU!! I’m a girl so this stuff does not come naturally, both headlight and side light needed changing on that side and Halfords wanted £16 PER BULB! I could only find videos for drivers side changes and that method simply didn’t work on this side of the car, your video saved me £32 and a lot of hassle. thanks!

cheers, saved me nearly £90, car went in for a service at a Hyundai dealer, they wanted an extra £90 to change the side light bulb.

Thank you loads this was just what I needed after struggling and failing to reach the bulb whilst the headlamp was still in place, simple but really useful, thanks again!

it is not possible to replace the small bulb without removing the lamp. Thank you very much for showing how easy it is to take out the lamp by unscrewing 2 screws. I did it in my car today and it went just as smoothly as in the movie. the lamps must be hit so hard that the latches catch them. and the srobki from the top are more proforma :) without this film, it would be impossible for me to take out this lamp. And when I saw you doing it, my surprise was huge, how easy it is, I couldn't believe it !!! greetings

Good job. This video will pretty sure help me to do this job for my car. It might help to spray some kind of oil (wd-40) or other lubricant between the headlamp unit and bumper to make it easier to remove.

I tryed to remove the connector can you show how did you disconnected it , i have trouble in disconnecting it in my i20 2009

had a go today trying to upgrade my bulbs to bright white, left side had to take out headlight to get side light / day light running light at one stage it not go back in any way i tried but got it back in just what a pain that was over an hour, the right side could not get bulbs out with in and could not remove headlight unit, only just managed to get it hooked back up and cap on, now left side bright white tint blue and right side more yellow lights. they have to do till i manage away to remove headlight over two hours for two bulbs and an attempt to change the right side and two gas struts on the boot, that was the 5 min job the lights right pain and still don't know if i need to adjust them now. i just keep the other head light and side light bulb with me if got time most likely just give that job to a garage, what a pain they are, cannot put enough strength and grip to move the right head light out. why can they not be a simple two min job as what do you do if you miles from home you going to have to call brake down recovery to fix it for a bulb its crazy. 1.2 should be loads room compared to 1.4 diesel but no room. i got to stage try get the bulb back in place plugged in and cap on give up on it for today, the left side with new very bright white new bulbs look great tho but now ones side bright white hint blue and other side yellow

I can't actually see how you do the little clamp thing when you put the headlight in. I'm stuck with a broken headlamp and I can't figure it out.

Depending on model you may need to take part of front bumper/grill off
