Hey brother, I got a question for you…I have a 2018 Hyundai Elantra Sport with the DCT and I noticed an oil film on, not sure ifs a seal or some kind of ring that’s like a felt like material where the passenger side driveshaft enters the transmission…it’s not leaking, but I could feel that it was damp to the touch and it definitely smells like GL-4 fluid. Do you happen to know if that’s normal for there to be a light oil film there?

@@GicaPhpDang, okay…do you happen to know if that’s something that can be repaired without removing the transmission? And that felt like material might actually be slightly red in color

@@Cat-cp1jo driveshaft seal can be replaced without removing the transmission, just driveshaft.

Hi there. I am having the same issue with my car. Same year same model however I have checked all fuses and all of them are good.

@@GicaPhp no fault codes whatsoever. I have checked both can and crank sensors to make sure it’s not that. The immobiliser is functioning as it is not flashing when ign on and it turns off when cranking. Fuel pump is working as it primes when ign on and pumps when cranking. I haven’t managed to check spark plugs yet as I lost my spark plug socket during my recent move. Will be checking tomorrow after I go buy a new one. But to me, if there is no spark then what is causing all of them to have no spark. Or even the same with fuel
