HD Hyundai Construction Equipment (www.hyundai-ce.eu) has presented a new compact wheeled excator in the weight class of 10 ton. The new compact 10 tons Hyundai HW 100A wheeled excavator fills the gap between the HW 65A (former model 55W-9) and the HX 140A wheeled excavators and is an important addition and fast growing market. The HW 100A is a highly versatile excavator and has 3 steering modus and a powerfull driveline.
Standard it has a 2-piece adjustable boom with along reach dipper arm. Maximum digging reach is 7,820mm, while maximum digging depth is 4,245mm. Lift capacity at a 5m radius ranges from 1.55 tonnes over the side, to 2.33 tonnes over the front of the machine with the blade down. Customers can choose between a front-mounted parallel dozer blade and independent stabilisers at the rear, a front grapple bar with rear-mounted dozer blade or front and rear outriggers. All options are interchangeable with the same bolt-on mounting system. In each case, the outriggers operate within the machine width.
Hyundai used their own Stage 5 compliant D34 diesel engine with DOC/DPF/SCR and no EGR. It has an exceptional power output of 75kW (100hp) with 460Nm of torque. It has a slim counterweight with a swing radius of 1.600 mm. It makes the Hyundai HW 100A a perfect machine for working on jobsites with very restricted place and ensures maximum safety. It is equipped with an Engcon (www.engcon.com) EC 209 tiltrotator with double S45 quick coupler, EC-Oil full hydraulic quick coupler, DC2 control system, MIG2 joysticks and gripper.
