    I think it will not dent any sell of Skoda or VW because they are informed buyers. Yeah for sure they need to improve the interior quality compares to what they sell in Europe market.

    I am one of them. Personally anything above 12 lacs, it’s a NO NO for Koreans & Maruti. VW has my trust for the safety, driving dynamics & performance. Others are trying to provide it to compete but it isn’t in their DNA.

    Please note 6 airbags whether it opens at the time of crash is already a issue and many cases are going on in the court, that is secondary safety, it's your car frame which is the first line of defence

    Vw group have good fit and finish , which other brand don't have .. the interior of vw group is ageless u will feel fresh after a decay also.. don't compare vw with second grade manufacturers who have only 3 Star ncap rating.

    design? yeah slap good tubelights on a goddamn sedan a goddamn design you call it? last time i sat in a hyundai, it was a horrendous experience it was a +190km long drive and the seats were sure enough to give me back pain that day

    Hello paaji, if possible do consider a video on analysis of Hyundai Alcazar/Kia Carens. Although they fall in different segment, but given their pricing and features list there are high chances that sales of Škoda/VW cars especially the 1.5 TSI variants will get impacted. If someone looking for more comfort and practicality is able to slightly stretch his budget, he won’t mind going for Alcazar/Carens. Besides, these offer a diesel engine as well and not to forget, a larger boot due to the foldable 3rd row seats.

    Kushaq Taigun looks very small , looks like segment of sonnet-300-Venue-Breeza. Base kushaq at 13.45 on road is very pricy . Ambition version too is very pricy.

    You are spot on with your Review. If CREATA Scores 5 Star Safety than it would be difficult for Kushaq-Tiagun to sustain their Sales nos. For all general Buyers - for better Cabin Space & loads of features facelift Seltos-Creata is an option, For almost the same Rear Seat Width, Diesal engine alongwith lower Pricing Venue, Sonet will score. For Better Rear Seat width Comfort, Engine & Gearbox options, lesser Pricing & Facelift XUV 300 might score over Kushaq-Tiagun for sure.

Unless they shed their Ego, Superiority complex of Global leader & offers more WOW Indian liked features over & above their best Safety & Driving Dynamics than competition at a Competative Pricing. Its not going to be easy for VW-Skoda. At the same time they need to offer Mass Market under 4 Mts CSUV Cars without compromise in quality stds for more visibility on Indian Roads. Otherwise chances are if Ford returns with ECOSPORTS in Petrol-Diesal & Other Sub 4 Mts offerings than more difficult for VW-Skoda India.

    My guess is nothing will change for other brands, you are speaking as VW/Skoda fan. ADAS is not that important, majority of people keep it switched off. New Verna didn't impact the sales of Slavia/Virtus. For Kushaq/Taigun I can say people don't buy them for their interiors or road presence. That customer is different. Only thing that can impact sale of other brands is 5 star rating.

    You are right but that customer who looks for dynamics & uncompromising safety, they don’t go elsewhere but when competition keeps itself upgrading then existing cars start looking outdated very early and it does impact flexible customers who sometimes tend to move away because of multiple factors like wife’s choice, children like panoramic roof & even ADAS. Salesmen would make you feel that you are buying an outdated car.

    Competition amongst brands is only going to benefit the end consumer, features like panaromic sunroof and adas were unheard of in sub 20 lakh category but now such features and many more are common in cars within sub 20 lakh budget!!

    Considering the reach of Hyundai and their consistent updates of the product will make all other offerings in the segment to run for cover.Hyundai/Kia has already started developing Hybrid powertrains for India.They are the only one in the segment to offer CVT,DCT and torque convertor in a single car.Kudos to their management for their product planning.The days of MARUTI SUZUKI as market leader are numbered.Their products are now the weekest in the segement.Ciaz one time a market leader has been dead for long.

    Maruti products are weakest in the segment? Lol.. dats not true.😂 only ciaz, ignis isn't selling well. But alto has no single competition at present. Wagon r, celerio, Swift, dzire, baleno, ertiga always outsell their competition. And now fronx and grand vitara are also doing great with sales numbers. Even Hyundai has to discontinue their og santro and eon because they realise they stand nowhere near to maruti in terms of small car sales segment.

    Apart from 6 airbags as standard Hyundai is giving disc brakes also as standard in all the models (even in base model). And 19 features in levels 2 Adas.... On the other hand Volkswagen and Skoda are like stubborn companies who do not want to give any thing and who do not understand customer needs.😂 People say Skoda and Volkswagen are German Cars.... I disagree on that... True German Cars are BMW , Mercedes , Audi etc. etc.

    @@SunderdeepSingh It is not kinda true.... it is true... Giving 4 disc brakes in base model is commendable.. Even in 22-23 lakhs Taigun or Kushaq we get drum brakes at rear... which is not acceptable at all. People who cannot buy real German Cars buy Skoda or Volkswagen and similarly people who cannot buy G Wagon buy Defender. People forget that defender is just an expensive Tata product and nothing else. G Wagon is G Wagon and its legacy is way above than Defender...

    I think hyundai has made some structural changes in facelift because they consider VW/Skoda,Tata, Mahindra as their true competitor that's the reason they made new verna considering slavia/virtus ie 1.5 turbo,5 star rating etc It's a hyundai.. don't know if they have changed the platform completely just like Tata made some serious changes in Harrier/Safari's Platform to score highest score 33.05/34 pts I'm just waiting for Tata and Mahindra to launch their version of Creta Rival because both are the only manufacturers which can compete with hyundai in terms of features and etc offerings

    Hyundai know the indian market than any other brand. Looking forward for the crash test and strength of body shell. For the Germans twins the situation will be almost like the Verna fluidic vs Vento/Rapid. On paper old verna had 126 PS power and lot of features but those who spent considerable time in both the vehicles know the difference. This time The twins has one disadvantage which is the lack of quality that was there in the vento/Rapid but there is a added advantage of more reliability. Let us wait and see how market react.

    If 5 star saftey then trust me its Game over for many brands. Only thing VW/SKODA saving is Saftey, Their fit and finish is way behind Hyundai now. My 10 year OLD octavia feels like Mercedes E-Class compared to VW virtus interior quality. Good time to buy VW/SKODA , they giving lakhs of discounts, checked myself.

    I dint like the external look either, the ongoing model looks better. Even the interior, current pictures look good. But I have a strong feeling that interiors have been over done and might look weird once seen in flesh.

    People choose Skoda and VW for driving experience which I guess miss in Hyundai or Kia. I have driven Hyundai cars and I felt they are very bouncy and steering never gives that confidence which Skoda and VW provide. I personally like simple dashboard design like Polo, hence dont like Creta interior. I feel if there are no features in car then also if you love to drive it then thats the car you should choose. Because if there are no features then you judge car in terms of driving, performance, safety, driving dynamics and cornering stability, high speed stability, etc.

    @@KrishKapoor-jy6gt that's a common issue in most of the three cylinder turbo engines in the market bro, if your engine is mechanically stable and not loosing performance then no issues. That's one of the negatives of a three cylinder in general and specially turbocharged ones

    Bhai ek question tha... Why is Skoda vw arent increasing their production capacity in India, just like like maruti,Hyundai' has. Who's stopping them. Is it that they don't hv enough funds to expand the production capacity o they r hvng a plan to leave india in near future .... bcz increasing their capacity may result in an increase in sales number as more ppl would buy their cars... In order to increase sales i feel they shud expand their capacity atleast so that they can compete with maruti o hyundai tata capacity to keep themselves in the race... Also i feel they shud focus on marketing like hyundai maruti to increase sales... Plz answer.. no hate abt skoda vw as i own slavia😅

    They are bringing their mqb a0 37 to utilise Aurangabad factory in a better way. Global brands like Toyota VW aren’t very keen to grow in India because of the hostile & ever changing policies due to which these brands spend their resources in better & more profitable countries. Brands like Suzuki Tata Mahindra focus in India because they have no other place to sell. Hyundai is an exception which is doing great everywhere.

    My most important advice to my loved brand VAG,Honda and it’s time now these brands wake up from their hibernation phase and start doing something 1) Please improve the interiors quality add some soft touch plastics like in kodiaq,Tiguan,Honda civic improve the plastic textures 2) keep 1.5 dSG available for TD’s paractically speaking engines build dynamics transmission finance are your Strengths VAG boast them show them off to customers other brand’s Stregths 3) flash and impact full advertisements are much needed boast about your stable body 5 stars safety shell heavy doors thud 4) open your eyes step out of your ego bubble you are engulfed in 5) introduce some car in under 4m segment under 10 lakhs 6) most of your dealers/Service centre’s staff technicians require you to talk to them harshly threaten them they won’t care or at least listen to what your drivers say but can be put to work with one phone call they will be begging you after that but they dominate ordinary customers this must be rectified

    Thats what Hyundai does….Never has it looked complacent and kept on improving it’s standards may it be interior quality, exterior design, safety and performance. Service center experience was always good compared to the competition. What else does a customer look for? Perfect blend of everything. Huge Success of Exter, Verna and now Creta within a year. Kudos to Hyundai. Nissan, Renault, VW, Skoda, Honda might be thinking of packing their bags very soon from India and Citroen might have already made up its mind.😂😂

    Paaji I would like to share u something I don't understand why Indian people are always interested in gadgets of our cars rather than driving dynamics, safety, reliability. To be honest, I don't care about gadgets of the car . I only prefer everything except gadgets. For example I bought creta top end variant because it has panoramic sunroof, air purifier, connected car tech , adas more features more space than elevate,gv,taigun etc. But after 2 or 3 months we might find it boring and useless . But the car which are having space, reliability, fun to drive car it won't be boring . I bought polo gt in 2017. I bought it over creta because even though creta has more space,features it will be way more boring as compared to driving, fun safety like vw and honda. My conclusion is that we shouldn't focus on features we should focus on driving, safety , reliability and so on . I am not hyundai hater

    Reliability ??? REALLY ??? I own Skoda VRS 2017, BULSHIT RELIABILITY . AND How many times in year u drive on 150+km speed, for most time we drive in city under 80. And this is where IT MATTERS MOST. For comparison Ventilated seats of Hyundai are much better then VW.

    My analysis is neutral but I would always support VW Skoda over Hyundai because they build safer & better engineered products. Hyundai doesn’t have my trust because of exporting better vehicles & giving us 3 star rated cars (Creta / i20) at exorbitant prices.

    It will not bring 5 stars.. It is based on the same old creta platform which is 3 stars.. ( barely stats). Hyundai 5 stars are based on k3 platform.. previously it was k2 now updated one is k3 which is international standard. K series is used in Verna Elantra and Tucson.. So not to worry

    Indian buyers are more knowledgeable now & do not mind paying a little extra for German Std. Quality Cars. But at the same time they are going to compare it with CREATA-SELTOS & Demand almost same or bigger Cabin space, better Fit-finish with luxurious Interior & Indian liked features. Same width with better feature list at much lower cost 1.5 Diesal engine options you get Venue, Sonet, wider Cabin Space with 5 Star & newer facelift XUV300. Than why buy Kushaq-Tiagun?

    Sir, thing is cars like XUV300 drive pathetic, offer AMT. I first hand cancelled it in 2022. Slavia feels 50 years ahead that such a vehicle. Second, Creta Seltos are always a big no. They have lost our trust even if they score 5 stars. European brands give safety as a fundamental whereas Koreans would provide some level of safety only to clear the test & not look bad in the competition & feel more shame.

But to be honest VW-Skoda 1.0 TSI Engine Cars are expensive, their Spares- Labour charges for expensive & top of it they have poor Service Stn Network. At the same time 1.0 TSI City efficiency is in single digit. And does not justify their pricing against CREATA-SELTOS, ELEVATE. 1.5 TSI is a gem of an engine but frightfully Expensive. Most of the Cars are used in City & average driving is 8-10,000 kms maximum per Year. Buying Cars is Easy but to maintain it is difficult. We as Indians do not have Trust & Confidence VW-Skoda Service Stns. Since they milk you Royally. Its Aaja-Fasaja aur har bari Paise detaa ja. Kitna bhi promise kare 4 Years Free Maintenance Package, kya pata 5th Years se marna chalu ho jay. Hence it's better to avoid their Cars. Kyu Panga lena chaiye. *Aa Bail Muje Maar* jyada paise dekar kyu karna chaiye. Ab aap bologe bhed chaal. Jiske paise lagte hai, usko hamesha se daar lagta hai. Vishwas hi nahi hai VW-Skoda Cars per. TC replacement ₹5 lacs aur DSG Gearbox ₹3 lacs. Kaise digest kare. Iske upar se VW-Skoda કે liye Driving style badlo, jyada Care lo, etc......Ek safed haathi palne jaisa hai.     Everyone has to know that, irrespective of the facelift or features given by hyundai or Kia, people who want that drivers car, which has that handling still prefer kushaq or taigun, and the latest entrant in that is elevate, As of now the market is moving towards features, and Hyundai has face that people believe offers more features, it's been reliable when compared to the VW group cars. Hyundai compromises on build to give more fearures here in India, and the body shell that is sold here is not the same abroad specially European countries or even the Korean. They did make Verna to pass gnacp with 5 stars but structure was rated unstable beyond further load, I expect the same for the creta facelift too Hence I expect the sales numbers to remain the same as, creta will sell 13-15 k every month and VW group will sell 1.5 - 2k every month and remain unaffected, where as the elevate will also eat into the Korean pie For me I don't need much features, I am a firm believer that safety starts from how I drive and, a stable build and a nice handling is enough for me, All I need is a reverse camera that's it I have driven the alcazar with the 360 deg camera or the gizmos these things just make me lazy and I feel me looking at the rear view mirror and side mirror and driving is better than looking at the 360 deg camera. I bet on driving skills than the gizmos.

    I think the want for excessive tech has kind of saturated in the market, Now people are more focused on their wants and needs specifically. The Creta will sell in a good number but I highly doubt that it will hinder the market of the Europeans . if it does, the vw group can easily tackle it with a mid life facelift.

    Bilkul sahi hai !! I've been to a Goa trip recently in my Slavia and the other car with us was Creta petrol automatic. I drove my car for 200kms and immediately drive the creta for 150kms. The car doesn't feel 50% as sturdy as the Slavia, driving dynamics are a no match, fun factor is missing and the confidence that Slavia gives at high speeds is just completely missing in Creta. I drove a fiesta for 5 years and after that if some car has come close to it is the Slavia !! ​@@SunderdeepSingh

More screens != luxury, but Indians don't understand that. 9" touch screen is more than enough, but if other manufacturers offer 13" then Indian buyers would swerve towards that sacrificing everything.

    Let’s get this straight. There’s no car to beat the Innova in MPV segment. Whatever Tata, Mahindra, Maruti build they cannot build a car like the Innova. Similarly when you consider Compact C segment SUVs, there’s no car to beat the Creta. Whatever VW, Skoda, MG, Tata, Mahindra build, it’s quite literally impossible to build a product as good as the Creta. Owners are fanboys and have biases but not drivers who drive any car given to them. I have literally heard a million stories from so many professional drivers who are a fan of the quality, comfort and convenience that the Creta offers. From the cabin quietness, to engine refinement to seat comfort, to design and practicality to experience in long trips in rear seat comfort, to reliability, to easy service/maintenance to etc etc etc. I have even heard some of the owners and auto reviewers discuss how perfectly the Creta is built. There are a million stories like that with the Creta and when you hear such stories you know it’s a product that’s unmatched and built to perfection. It’s basically a gem from Hyundai and no two ways there. So any car from VW, Skoda, MG, Nissan, Maruti, Honda, Tata, Mahindra are all working for the second position only. The first position is taken and there’s no competition for it.

    Don't think about segment look at the price point. XUV and Scorpio are selling like hot cakes at a similar price point of Innova Crysta. Hycross is more expensive though.

Hyundai was bere since 2 decades and kia came in 2019. It took 8 years for creta to reach where seltos reached it in 4 years.

    I keep on viewing customer feedback, where tata is badly missing fit and finish issues. Huandai starts loosing power after 50k and paint fading issue. Buyer still passionate as bride should look good on wedding night only.😂

    5 star kabhi nahi laa sakti new creta because same body structure and same body panels.Still baloon type structure. Only lights changed. Somehow it looks uglier from outside compared to previous creta.

    I am not really fond of ADAS. That is the only reason I am Hesitant to buy Elevate ZX variant and avoided City completely even though I am cross shopping. Our Indian road infrastructure and driving discipline/habits are sincerely not ready for any autonomous driving feature. I don’t want a car that is unnecessarily intrusive and beeping every 10 seconds simple because it has a brain of it’s own that isn’t in the right environment.

    I own elevate zx cvt, i haven't faced any issues with ADAS system even while driving in city. I would strongly suggest you buy a car with ADAS it literally is so helpful in city as well as in highways. It saved me from colliding 2 times and features like lane keep assist will make you follow drivers discipline.

    Bhagwan jaane Nissan-Renault kar kya Raha hai.. ekto Dacia wala Duster laate laate inki ek bhi na beeke. Nissan lagta hai Magnite pe hi rehjaaye. Nissan ka technology bhaisaab top notch but pata nahi kaab kuch launch karenge India mai. Honda Elevate jinko Lena woh lenge zaroor. Elevate has that feel. But harrier, Taigun,Kushaq ,XUV300 they will surely get some dent

    Existing Creta was 💩 looking car..so as their current lineup cars..Don't know how people considered this as their car? I think biggest reason is Bhedchaal and Diesel Engine I remember one line "If you don't look back at your car after you park it, you've bought the wrong car!" I bet majority of creta owners won't even look back at their car because they already bought a wrong car😂 or bought only because of features and diesel engine that's it..

    They r already busy playing with air purifier, touchscreen and annoying other people with high beam and horn..but they forget that their car is already a 2 star (actually 2 because 8.00/17 pts) rated tin can😂 If 0.01 pts were less which is negligible to consider then it's would have a 2 star rated
