Hi good review. I bought the same compressor and agree with everything you say. The bleed screw under the tank is a bit of a pain so I will look to change it in the future for a similar wing nut type. Also when my compressor turned up at the door after unboxing it I noticed the elbow joint that goes into the cylinder head was snapped off and the thread part was stuck inside the head so I contacted the company I bought it from and they sent me a replacement cylinder head with the new elbow joint attached. What I did was go to screwfilx and bought some liquid ptfe they sell two types, a normal liquid seal and a thread lock liquid ptfe that's made for vibrating parts I bought that one and I've had no problems with leaks. In fact I've put it on everything regulators spray gun connections and got rid of all the ptfe tape. I'd definitely recommend it. 👌

My 80 gallon is minimum for a full paint job. The issue is solved by replacing the compressor to tank line with a coil of brake line with a fan on it. Basically, the moisture condensates on the walls and drips to the drain... Well when its hot it just becomes humidity until the tank cools down again.... The coil will get you better results on any compressor, at least get you farther b4 your contaminated, them filters work, temporally, so it might save your ass at the end of a job if a couple minutes will make or brake you but they only do so much ......

PS USA dudes, the rest of the world runs 220. We run 110 because Edison and Westinghouse knew that their is a lot more wasted electricity going through the meeter running 110.....

I’ve just bought one of these for working with chocolate actually! We use spray guns to spray coloured cocoa butter into moulds. I spray several at a time so I needed a bigger compressor. I also use a HVLP gun to spray with - this is my first time setting everything up with the compressor - I hope it all goes well I don’t know so much about it!!

I'm looking for some help with the same compressor. When set at 4 bar and using my spray gun, the pressure drops to zero, until I release the trigger, then it returns to the set pressure, so I initially have enough pressure, they the spray tails off to barely anything. It seems to work fine otherwise. I switched over to my backup compressor for comparison, and when I pull the trigger the pressure on it drops around 1 bar at the most. Any help appreciated.

Hi, I have got questions. Do you recommend if I should use 24L or 50L hyundai air compressor to respray on car using LVHP spray gun? Does it work well for you if you have used 24L or 50L to respray on your car? I'd love to know!

Oil free compressors have a built-in life span, typically around 200 hours running time before the teflon wears out. If you can buy replacement cylinders/liners your good, if not you need a new compressor. Your bambi compressor will outlive the hyundai by a few decades at least :)

This is simply not true with this machine . piston seals cylinders and the reed valves are cheap . all parts are available easily from the aftersales guys . they are considered service items . the biggest killer for all compressors is over using the duty cycle and poor servicing . I have been using mine for 3 years and done one proper service when I saw a drop in performance . everything was fine apart from dirty air filters .

@@ade63dug As said, the tefllon wears out but if replacement parts are available then its all good. The hyundai is too noisy for my application even though its called silent its not as silent as a bambi. I couldnt fire up a hyundai at 3am in the house and live to tell the tale :)
