I watched this vid a couple of years back and have been polishing my airbrush needles this way since. It's saved a couple of my old airbrushes, so thanks. One more step I've only learned recently is to use an oil with Teflon in it. (I use WD40 Dry Lube with Teflon as it was the only one I found when i went looking but it works fine.) When done with polish, I wipe it down with a few drops of the oil on a rag, and it really helps with tip drying as well.
haha.. at the beggining I thought I am watching staropramen comercial. Didnt know they export in US.
Great video!
Просто фара не горит и мотор не работает
Генератору нужна нагрузка для стабильной работы. Лампа накала даёт сопротивление
Когда лампочка в форе сгорает мотор перестаёт работать
Лампочку поменяй
Is this good for sandblasting?
Would a faulty pickup coil cause no spark On only 1 spark plug?
Not questioning the efficacy of this method. I'm, however, wondering if I trust my hands enough for this.
3/4 goatee? 🤔 well, ok then
Brings back many happy memories of when we were younger. I remember you buying the Velo when we were at Baker Perkins.
howzit Mackie hope u well buddy i would have loved it mate only prob i am a bit far from u guys i live in south africa, maybe if u guys wanne visit us here in South Africe i can host u guys
Never say never!
@@MackieBass anytime bud i stay in mosselbay western cape best roads in africa😜and plenty of beer any time u welcome bud
Fantastically helpful video. I was in two minds if I really needed to buy the mounting plate, so your advice has reassured me that it is not obligatory. Thanks again.
Glad it helps
A very helpful video thanks. Mine slid off the stand, breaking the clutch lever and bar end cap last week. The gear shifter was also bent. I managed to straighten the shifter and I'm about to do the lever. The non OEM lever was £GB6 and the cheap looking OEM end cap was £GB18!
Glad it helped
A successful work that combines green and gold, in addition to an off-topic note 😅 (your accent is beautiful)
Well, thank you 😊
Just followed this to polish up my iawata's needles for the first time. Big help, thanks.
Wonderful!
Why can't I find the rest of the videos. Have an xv500k I want to build.
Its all on my channel
I use a dremel with a polishing tip on mine. I just turn it on and run my needle along it
That's a great idea!
Badass!!
Those flames are saucy
Thanks
Exelente trabajo! Te lo agradezco por el consejo, asi finalizo el mantenimiento de mi ariografo 👏👏🤗👍🇲🇽
Great vid! Thank you! Time to tackle my 1290 SAS 🔧🏍️
Good luck!
What model Triumph is this bike?
As per the title... Tiger. 800.
Nice
Thanks
budget doesn't always mean rattle cans, I have found that rattle cans are actually more expensive than buying paint by the quart and spraying with a gun. For that same amount of money you can buy paint by the quarts and spray more than one project with it, Sand paper and masking tape are your actual biggest expenses!
Anyone know the proper oil covet bolt torque needed? Can't seem to find this for 95 vmax 1200. The bolt to take off was stupid tight. Tnx
Check the manual. No longer have it.
love u guys from south Africa u r the best from someone who loves my bikes more than my wife😛
You and i both!

Hey man, great videos! What brush are you using to outline the knuckle dusters? Cheers
Long liner of some sort. Cannot remember now ;)
Sorry to ask but why did you not show the removal and replacement of the faulty pickup?
It was so long ago that i cannot remember the reason. Sorry.
I used cretex candy 2.0 emeral green and when I sealed the first coat to stop the bleed through the white I laid down for the next layer I was gonna use poison green but when I went back and started laying in the second layer of white outlines it turned powder blue ?? What the hell happened ?? And It kept doing it everytime I tried to lay down white the shit turned blue what did I do wrong ??? Help me brother !! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
It's probably reacting and bleeding from underneath. Seal it with either clear coat or an intercut sealer and you should be good to go :)
@@MackieBass thank you brother there is an airbrush artist named DRU BLAIR , and he said what I’m experiencing something called BLUE SHIFT ! And how you remedy this when the white paint dries and blue shift happens get transparent orange yes transparent orange and go over the white with the orange let it dry and go back over it with the white and it will stop the blue shift ! When I found that out my mind was blown and damn if it didn’t stop the blue shift !
Hello, is it possible to get the location of this or near to where you started looks like a lot of fun
You can find it on google maps satellite view - exactly halfway between Weeting and Hockwold Cum Wilton, just , slightly north of Brandon Road. Once you put on satellite view you will be able to spot sandy patch - that's it! :) Hope that helps
@@MackieBass cheers I did manage to have a look and located it cheers again
could you please send me the GPX location to the play ground
Don't have it, but you can see it on google maps satellite view - exactly halfway between Weeting and Hockwold Cum Wilton, just , slightly north of Brandon Road. Once you put on satellite view you will be able to spot sandy patch - that's it! :) Hope that helps
That would be so scary
What would be?
My friend had a similar problem, poor reg/rec and it ruined most the the electrcal parts i.e. ecu, clocks, stator and lights. Mosfet type reg/rectifiers are said to be far better, less heat more stable dc voltage.
thanks koli
Has the spark plug worked loose. Mine did on my TU
it was a wrong cdi unit. It's on the channel :)
i have a drz400 and am thinking of getting a tuareg 660. based on your trip what major differences or tradeoffs did you notice?
I've not ridden the Tuareg, but my mate is happy with it. It's a much bigger (heavier) bike. I will not be swapping the DRZ anytime soon. She's perfect :)
Those are some awesome machines right there. Thank you for sharing. I need a buddy like Eric. 😊
You and me both!
Another beauty ride. Cheers lads.
Glad you enjoyed it. I will be creating new channel just for the off road rides!
Mackie, your friend Eric is proof that a passion for motorcycles helps keep you young !
Living proof!
witam. takich ludzi jak Eric zostalo juz niewielu. masz ogromne szczescie i przywilej miec takiego wspanialego czlowieka wsrod znajomych.czekam na kolejny epizod z jego udzialem. pozdrawiam.
Mozna sie od niego wiele nauczyc, naprawde wporzadku czlowiek!
Good to see some of the trails are drying up. Didn't fancy going under that bridge then? 🤣🤣
Not without the scuba diving mask! For me and the DRZ :)
Great video respect to Eric, I ride now and then with a few of us Harley riders one of which is 87 this year on his 1200 Sportster
Respect! These guys are just on another level!
Some lovely old British bikes there. Eric keeps them looking and running good and rides them too.
Yes, he knows exactly what these bikes need!
Dad always called him Eric’the Bonneville’ Parker & so he always should be called this. Son-of-Brian.
love it!
Quality
Hiya Mackie, just watched the video with Eric-what can I say, what a guy! I've just turned 60, and I hope I can still be like him when I hit 80. Don't think my kids and grandchildren would approve, but, hey, what the f**k. Saying that, my granddaughter Elle would definitely approve as she is a rebel-just turned 18 and has had a massive tattoo on her side/hip. Go girl!! How long have you had the Harley? Take care dude, ride safe mate. Steve & Elle the rebel.
Hey man, I had the HD for over 4 years now I think... Love cruising on it just pointlessly, it's great for your soul. Send my love to Elle and best wishes to you too my good sir!
what an interesting fella and what a collection of bikes he has, you are lucky to have met him and count him as a friend, he must have some fantastic tales to tell about his years on bikes, and yes back to the garage to watch him doing something is an excellent idea
We can make it happen for sure. We can all learn a bit from Eric!
Looked like a great ride
It was ok, a lot of lanes were closed, so kind of ruined the fun., but still we a good day!
