Every year since 1972 (except Xtmas Eve 2020 when the UK inhabitants were wrongfully consigned to their homes) the boys & men choir (since 2018, the last remaining choir of boys and men in a parish church in the entire Diocese of Canterbury; there are now approx 30 left in the country. In 1901 there were an estimated THIRTY THOUSAND in the country!!) have sung carols outside Hythe Town Hall, Kent (or some years in the Town Square) for an hour from 11 - noon.
This year was the FIFTIETH for the Choirmaster (only missing 2020 as detailed above).
