Made an audible shout seeing this thing work. This was definitely a game designed for people who play games the way you do.

Thanks dude! It's very much up my alley. My favorite Zelda since Wind Waker.

@@ShockleyHaynes Personally I’ve been struggling a bit to get into the vehicle-building aspect compared to BotW, but I get a thrill seeing some of the inventions people with engineering brains have come up with. Did you hear about how some guy made the in-game equivalent of an ancient Greek proto-computer? A complex system that can calculate basic functions automatically, all built with Zonai parts. Crazy.

amazing work, the only thing I'd add are some of those yiga metal plate spikes to the front of the vehicle to do some bumping & stabbing damage tho Im not sure how effective that'd be compared to your weapons

Thanks! I imagine you could get some incidental damage after it shrinks from evil shark form to vulnerable squid form. It would also look cooler, which has its own value.

Hey James, will you do a walkthrough on MGS Delta when it releases? I still watch your old videos from time to time. They are that amazing!

Ooohh, what a cool vehicle! I wonder how this game handles torque... it might be helpful to have the two wheels on top rotate against each other, in opposite directions, so the torque cancels out.

I considered that after the fact. It's worth experimenting with.

maxing out your stamina and not touching your health is the best way to play this game. are you purposefully avoiding heart containers from boss fights too?

I’ve been playing it this way (more or less, got a few hearts now and then) - glad to hear my intuition was correct.

I sure am! Once I made it across the north moat of Hyrule castle with ingenuity, I decided to see how far that would take me. Turns out, quite a ways!

Hi! Thank you for asking. After much reflection, I sunset that particular video. I believe its argument still holds, and my reasons largely pertain to the conversation it contributed to. The MGS videos' audience, as well as the broader conversation around sexism in media, has changed greatly since 2015. Revisiting the video eight years later, it felt like it was speaking to a different audience and time than someone who might happen upon it now. To look at it through MGS2's thematic lens, I might say it felt like a decontextualized statement whose urgency makes less sense outside its moment. Happily, the conversation around sexism in media has advanced since then, and I consider the video having served its purpose over its career by contributing to that advancement. I decided to let it retire, like Old Snake, and rest as the temporal utterance it is.
