Speaking of Fire Emblem. You could do a reaction to Fire Emblem Critical Hit animations. I'd suggest doing the GBA Fire Emblem which is 6(The Binding Blade) 7(The Blazing Blade/Sword) and 8(The Sacred Stones.) as these are technically the first Fire Emblem games outside of Japan(Except for 6 because it is a glitchy mess.) Love that you found this gem of a game, sadly there's a lot of characters and special moves that are missing from this video (some only trigger on special enemies with special characters) The characters in order are: - Link with his One-Handed Sword, Two-Handed Sword and Spear - Impa (The one that makes clones of herself. She's an old lady that helps Link in Breath of the Wild) - Zelda with her Sheikah Slate and Goddess Powers (she's wearing her ceremonial dress in the video) - Mipha (The fish lady) - Daruk (He's the big guy with a shield) -Revali (Blue cocky bird-man) - Urbosa (The one you called the amazon goddess, she's a fan-favourite for sure) - Hestu (He's a korok, but a really big one, and he loves to sing and dance) - Sidon (He's Mipha's little brother from the future) - Yunobo (He's a goron like daruk, they eat rocks, he's also from the future) - Teba (He's a Rito like Revali, and also from the future) - Riju and Patricia (She's a Gerudo like Urbosa, but she was made Chief of the Gerudo as a child, her "walrus" is a Sand Seal named Patricia. She's also from the future) - Master Kohga (He's the leader of the Yiga Clan, who are enemies in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom) - King Rhoam (He's Zelda's dad, and also the Old Man in Breath of the Wild) - The Great Fairies (Their names are Cotera, Mija, Kaysa and Tera. In Breath of the Wild they can upgrade Link's armor) - Master Monk Maz Koshia (He's and ancient Sheikah Monk from 10,000 years ago, he's the same race as Impa) - Terrako (He's a mini Guardian that can travel through time, it was built by Zelda, and is originally from the Breath of the Wild timeline) - Calamity Ganon (It is literally hatred and malice incarnate, and is separate from Ganondorf, he's more like a byproduct of Ganondorf's hatred)

This game specifically covers The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. If you want to react to a game that covers a larger majority of Zelda games, react to Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition. To answer a couple of those questions you two had: The large dudes who roll are called gorons. They are rock people who eat rocks. The Amazonian women you saw are Gerudo. You are right on the money of them being Amazonian, as they don’t let men into their town. (Fun Fact: Ganondorf is commonly depicted as a Gerudo Man, which is a 1/1000 chance) That robotic thing you called Ganon is called Calamity Ganon! It is debatable if Ganon and Ganondorf are the same person in Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, but in most Zelda games, Ganondorf becomes Ganon after doing some devilish deed to do so.

Seconded on definitive edition! Breath of the Wild has a great cast and all but definitive edition covers characters from all across the series who are total classics.

Age of calamitys story was a treat, i genuinely enjoyed it myself

There are some Special Attacks that are missing, like Link against specific enemies, and one for the Great Fairies (The one you called Ursula crossed with Poison Ivy) immediately come to mind. This game is specifically a pre-sequel of Breath of the Wild, which is why there are a lot of characters you may not recognize if you're not familiar with that game. You should also know, there are DLC expansions for this game, which adds another weapon for Link, Zelda, and adds two more characters with their own Special Attacks. Have fun, they're still really cool to see!

@@DefinitelyNotDefinitiveGames Link and Zelda can ride motorcycles. It's canon in Breath of the Wild and Age of Calamity. But the motorcycles are DLC both times.

Ohh can you please do the supers from the first hyrule warriors aswell? That one is moreso a crossover of older Zelda games, while this one exclusively pulls from "Breath Of The Wild".

If you haven’t, you guys should check out the first hyrule warriors special attacks.

As a big Zelda fan I'm always happy to watch a Zelda video just to see a person's first time reaction. Once you guys play through BoTW you'll understand a little bit more of what you saw. Naturally I would suggest playing BoTW first then this to maybe add a little more context before ToTK.

Yup Breath of the wild will be first Zelda game we play on this channel 😅

0:52 Link was eating some fruit because in Breath of the Wild, where this version of Hyrule Warriors is actually a prequel of, you can eat and cook collectable food items for various perks such as health/stamina recovery, damage buffs and resistance in hot and cold areas.

Missing from this video: Link using nunchucks Zelda on the Master Cycle Zero Robbie and Purah Battle-Ready Guardian And as mentioned by others, the animations specific to certain enemy types.

Interesting.. never thought about the model design for these characters.. but Zelda is more "european" designed so greek or french is a good call. As far as i know - According to Shigeru Miyamoto, co-creator of The Legend of Zelda series, Princess Zelda's name was inspired by that of Zelda Fitzgerald, an American novelist, dancer, and socialite. Great choice.

I reckon a reaction to breath of the wild memories would be a good fit for you. In the game the story events leading up to the start of the game are delivered through a series of memory videos, you can find compilations online

11:05 To be more exact, the BOT and TOTK timeframe, with this game essentially being an epilogue to BOT.

This "thing" is Yunobo a Goron.. The Gorons are like the dwars/orcs of the Zelda Verse. But much more friendly. They snack pure stone. "Amazon Queen" Good call. That was Urboso Sage of the Gerudos (Female only warrior tribe from the desert) my fan favourite. Hope you soon will met all of them in the Story.

Age of Calamity is a loose prequel to Breath of the Wild, pretty much all the characters in it are from Breath of the Wild specifically. So when you play BotW you will meet most of them! The 'amazon goddess' is Urbosa, she's a Gerudo and I love her

Master Cycle Zelda and Battle-Tested Guardian were missing but still glad you got to see this!

Man I love Warrior games. The repetitive-ness of these games is just so addicting to me. Still haven’t played this one yet, but I’m looking forward to it. Also looking forward to Tekken Lore video when it comes out!

That cyborg ganon was kinda like an offshoot of ganon

I recommend that when you're done playing Breath of the Wild, you should play Age of Calamity before Tears of the Kingdom because Age of Calamity is kind of like a prequel to Breath of the Wild. Age of Calamity is absolutely awesome and is filled to the brim with absolute great cutscenes and fights, story events, etc. However do not play it before Breath of the Wild as it will spoil some stuff from that game, only play it right after. Also, the video missed one of Mipha's (the fish girl with a spear and water powers) special attacks. She creates a very tall geyser that she swims up before stabbing foward at the enemy with her trident from the air. Fun fact: Mipha is a childhood friend of Link and has a crush on him. She's the princess of the Zora people(aquatic fish people) and was known for being one of their best swimmer, one of the best spear master in all of Hyrule, and for having unique healing powers on top of her water manipulation.

the lady that looks like an amazon, her name is Urbosa, she is the chief of a group of people called the Gerudo. just like the amazons, the Gerudo only consists of woman, but with dark skin and red hair.

Love your reactions! And yeah there is a lot of lore to the Zelda series, and I say that as a longtime fan. If you really want to dig deep check out the first hyrule warriors game. It’s actually pretty great!

What a rare treat! Hyrule warriors: Age of Calamity is basically a spin off prequel to the Breath of the wild story line, so if you ever decide to play Age of calamity, only do so after actually playing breath of the wild. On that note, if you do actually start playing Breath of the Wild (and Tears of the kingdom), you guys should definitely check out some Zelda tuber videos, that kind of explain how and where Breath of the wild is in the timeline and after being in certain parts of the story, some theory videos that explain the corresponding events/places/names etc! Zeldatubers I can recommend are either Zeltik, Monster Maze, Masked Nintendo Bandit or Nintendo Black Crisis Also when playing Breath of the wild, you guys should definitely get the DLC with it, it adds so much more story and gameplay before going up against the final boss, really fun and rewarding!

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is specifically exclusive to the BotW (and TotK by proxy) timeline, as it acts as somewhat of a prequal. there is another Hyrule Warriors game which acts more as a stand-alone Zelda game

Link - Sword & Shield - Two-Handed Weapon (He eats food to keep up the stamina lost from certain strong attacks.) - Spear Impa (As a Sheikah, she does all sorts of ninja stuff, like throwing knives, shadow clones, and yes, summoning large frogs.) Zelda - Sheikah Slate (Weaponizes the runes of Remote Bomb, Cryonis, Stasis, and Magnesis in various creative ways. Special attack uses the Camera rune.) - Bow of Light Mipha (Her special attack can also heal herself and nearby allies, as she is a healer in Breath of the Wild's lore.) Daruk Revali Urbosa Hestu (More of a tree boy.) Sidon Yunobo Teba Riju (She wears the Thunder Helm in her special attack, which provides protection from lightning.) Master Kohga (He leads a split branch of the Sheikah called the Yiga Clan, which normally sides with Calamity Ganon.) King Rhoam (He appears in his normal kingly presentation and in his hermit guise, with the woodcutting axe.) Great Fairies (All four of them pop up from the same flower here, each with a unique skill.) Monk Maz Koshia (This Sheikah mummy was the boss of a DLC story for BotW.) Terrako (He's an original character to Age of Calamity - a miniature version of the Guardians.) Calamity Ganon (The version in BotW is more of a mechanical abomination. This version takes after the shape of Ganondorf and the skills of the BotW bosses known as Blight Ganons.) Age of Calamity's DLC actually adds new weapon types for Link (Flail) and Zelda (Master Cycle), as well as three more warriors: Battle-Tested Guardian Sooga (Another Age of Calamity-exclusive character, he's Kohga's right-hand man.) Purah & Robbie (Two eccentric Sheikah researchers. By BotW's time, Robbie has become old and small, but Purah accidentally de-aged herself in an experiment. Purah becomes adult again by the time of Tears of the Kingdom.)

you guys should also check the dlc characters attacks for this game to and by the by this game is a what if story just a altered timeline because of the little egg bot ( the r2d2 robot you guys liked)

Hyrule is the Kingdom where most of Zelda games are set on. Zelda is the Princess of Hyrule.

Finally doing Hyrule Warriors, but you start off with Age of Calamity, huh? That’s fine i guess, but I you do the original Hyrule Warriors at some point, speaking of which maybe you could do this: Hyrule Warriors Definitive Edition/Age of Calamity: all Focus Spirit, specials, weak point smashes by Hex, at some point. Regardless, I appreciate this Reaction.

You guys should totally react to all the breath of the wild memories so you can see more of these characters.

i would recommend checking out trailer for upcoming game "Last Train Home" by THQ Nordic It would also give you a glimpse of now little obscure part of modern history which back in the day made news paper headlines around the world and epicness of which puts Hollywood to shame P.S. ...my great grandfather was one of their captains, and my family still keeps his revolver as an heirloom. Thats why this is so dear to me :)

The Ganon thing wasn't in them, so I think he was part of the base game as an unlock for either completing the game or doing a lot within the post game content. It's possible unlocking him faster was part of an update alongside the DLC.

@@Blubbi42 Calamity Ganon is Base game, it's probably the last character you'll unlock as it need a lot of steps then beat a specific stage.

I Hope you check out the original hyrule warriors because in my opinion the original one is a lot better than this newer one

I wish they did Warriors games for other franchises. Pokémon seems a natural. And yeah it did SORT of cross over with Pokemon Conquest but that was a strategy RPG.

@@BJGvideos They went to make one, but ended doing Conquest (which is a crossover with Nobunaga's Ambition) because they though Pokémon fit with it more than Musou.
