I like how the ending is clear enough without being explicitly explained.

Ok I get it. The skinless guy is "over/blackout drinking". It's killing the ppl around the MC's using their body while they are in their drunken stoopers.

Well this is about as subtle as a sledgehammer to the nuts. It's not bad, but it feels very extreme.
