Hi! During 5:51 u basically injected air before the medication has flowed? or was the inside of the catheter line air-free?

This type of HDC has no method of priming. The air in the catheter is injected into the patient tissue (not blood stream) and the volume is small (0.25 ml) which will be absorbed

How long is it before you should change your disposable surgical mask if you work in a care home?

Hi Brett, the timelines are not definitive. It will depend on how long you are wearing it and what you are doing .. the heavier the work, the faster your mask becomes damp. In my experience I have not had to leave a patient room to change a mask and reenter.

NurseMinder Thank you. My wife works 12 hour shifts at a care home and wears the same mask for 11 hours, this just seemed a little long to me without changing for a new one.
