Around a thousand years ago Imam Muhammad Al Ghazali told story of a man walking in the jungle. A roaring lion ran towards him and the man ran as fast as he could to escape from it. He noticed a well in front of him and he jumped inside hoping to escape from the lion. As he was falling inside the well, he grabbed onto the rope and saved himself. The man was so relieved but when he looked down he saw a big snake at the bottom of the well. It had its jaws wide open ready to swallow him up. The man then looked up and saw two mice nibbling at the rope. A black mouse and a white were both chewing into the rope. The scary lion was still prowling outside the well. The man's heart was pounding as he wondered how he could escape from this. Then he noticed a honeycomb in front of him which had delicious honey dripping from it. He stuck his finger into the honey and put it inside his mouth. It was delicious and for a moment he forgot about the lion, the snake and the two mice chewing at the rope. Imam Ghazali explained that the lion is like the angel of death which is always looming above us. The snake was like his grave which all humans will face. The black mouse and white mouse were like the day and night which are always nibbling at our life (the rope). The honey was like this dunya which with its momentary sweetness makes us forget the death and the eternal life.

@@tanishareynolds3748 Integrating certain aspects of culture and custom with Islam as long as it does not contradict the beliefs and principles of Islam and it does not become obligatory and mainstream for all Muslims (as in people don't consider such acts as obligatory in Islam so as to become mainstream) is fine. Even if what you are saying is true the Chechnyans just changed their old tradition into an Islamically viable group Dhikr/Zikr (remembrance of God). Countries like Turkey also have similar Zikr traditions albeit with less physical movement.

It's a sufi zikr. Like a chant. But it's islamic and obviously the nature is a strong positive energy from the devine. That's the whole purpose of it.

In our ancient historical homes the first whole floor was kept empty for guests and visitors, even now in the modern times its normal that people have a home, and a +home besides it for guests/elders. Its in our hearts ! We are there for each other

This was not practice of Prophet Muhammed salallahu aleyhi we salam, and he said that all innovations in faith ( ibadat! And cars are not part of ibadat and we dont have to use camels) are prohibited. Allah has prescribed religion and said that He is pleased with Islam that Prophet Muhammed sallallahu aleyhi we salam has delivered, and Prophet said we should understand Islam as sahabas did, and they never did things like these..

Just then, a tiny mouse darted out from a crack in the cliff face above him and began to gnaw at the vine. At that precise moment, the man noticed a patch of wild strawberries growing from a clump of earth near where he dangled. Reaching out, he plucked one. It was plump, and perfectly ripe; warmed by the sunshine. He popped the strawberry into his mouth. It was perfectly delicious. The End.

G L.C bro idk about goon squads because u made that up plus chopping of heads is not wrong this all started to the path of Allah, Sunnis rules had changed tremendously, I’m not saying that there might be pure Sunni groups but rn we are instructed to worship Allah and follow. Our prophet, where does it say swearing is ok, where does it say sit on a chair and move ur heads up and down, it is more for the fear of Allah, not just love, our hearts can be deceived by ones personal greed, anyone was a Muslim before but there was people who did anything for there personal needs

There is secrets that make them being that intense. Everyday, they do at least 1000 dhikr chant plus 1000 solawat minimum. This is include suluk ritual for 3 days and 3 night. WHEN they start gathering and chanting dhikr, individually, they are forgetting about their individual existence. 1 to All All to 1.

Maybe it's from years of being in a marching pipe band, but it is so satisfying to watch such synced up movement in a huge crowd of people. Like, I feel so happy and this looks like so much fun, my day has been made :D

This is really kind of a beautiful thing. This is a gem of raw humanity. It seems ancient and somehow refined at the same time. Religious argument aside, this is something of humanity that should be more documented. One day this tradition may no longer exist or transform. This is stunning, primal and incredibly artistic.

I absolutely love this tradition. I saw this on one of season 1 episodes of Ertugrul and have always wanted to see more. You have to be in really good shape to be part of this or you could easily get trampled. I love this a lot

Watch it. I personally don’t know if Zirk is wrong or write to do. I was a bit shocked when I heard the word Zikr. BUT, I don’t know if thw lecture in that video is valid and 100% correct. I kept it mostly because of the word ZIKR
