For my money, it's the best retroclone ever written. A unique vision, faithful to its progenitor, but not slavishly so. So evocative and well-written. Unlike much of the OSR, this is a complete game and all that's needed for years of awesome gaming memories.

Thank you for doing this interview, absolutely adore this man's work and happy to see anyone talking about it. I went through a lot of OSR systems after burning out on 5e. DCC ALMOST won out, but Astonishing Swordsmen and Sorcerers of Hyperborea is just ASTONISHING 😂 The best setting i have ever come across, the art is stunning, the world is incredibly fleshed out, the core system is a collection of everything i ever wanted from a system.
