I tried to dance this in front of the mirror and i looked like a chicken trying to be cool and skipping the twerk part coz i felt so embarrassed and afraid that my mom will pop out of nowhere in my room Edit: The fact that when I ended doing this choreography tired as heck and commented this randomly. My comment was pretty dumb and I was hoping that no one see it. I'm glad that I was funny for once and that y'all can relate to this as well. I'm not pretty confident at dancing and, that's the reason why this comment was random and what I felt in that moment after trying this choreo. I was confident at first, but hyolyn is a queen and felt embarrassed of myself.

There's this notable difference between a dancer and an idol. I've noticed this many times. Idols tend to make the choreography graceful and somehow stylish while the dancer tends to go for the powerful and energetic performance. Its interesting. Same goes for sinB with her sweet but psycho cover and irene and seulgi's monster. Its really interesting how they're trained.

I totally agree. The other dancer is Aaliyah Janel and she is the choreographer. She is very talented but I prefer how Hyolyn presents this routine. Hyolyn's movements are more fluid and precise like she put a lot of thought into each step if that makes sense lol

@7 8 It's not really about making it look effortless. they dont put in as much effort as the dancers on purpose because they also have to focus on singing and still looking presentable in the face. The dancers only need to dance so they're able to go all out on that.

Vexus Juggler Hyolyn is definitely a way better dancer than Bora. I love Bora to bits but she only does well if given good choreography. I think Hyolyn was always meant to be main dancer in SISTAR but you know idol groups assign specific members for specific positions and she couldn’t be main singer AND dancer...Bora upheld the main dancer position pretty well tho but even with only a few rap lines (which allowed her to put in more effort in her dancing), Hyolyn still always outperformed her...even with as much singing as she was did in the group. This is of course my own personal opinion and you’re welcomed to disagree.

Chim Cham I agree, it's usually said that Bora was main dancer because she had training in other more technical dances like tap and ballet and she did great in Hit the stage but Hyolyn is so meant to be, it's so natural for her to be a complete performer. Well most female idols ARE stick thin let's be honest, and I'm convinced they couldnt physically complete a set of songs with such a dance for a performance since its too demanding. Unless you have muscle and some extra fat on your body you cannot keep up with a pace like that, so I think female kpop dances especially for groups are more simple, so that they can last longer without completly tiring out, since they're so skinny it's impossible to have the fitness and endurance to do complicated dances for a long time

@Lapis-Lazuli Grenat Yes I have seen many ballets, am a big fan, and I would most certainly know about professional athletes since I am one myself. I hope you don't mind me pointing some things out. Ballet dancers have been training like crazy their whole life to be where they are. And since I have seen a lot of ballets I can confidently tell you that yes, not a lot of body fat is present, in fact I have to correct myself. You DONT really need body fat to dance like you mentioned but you do need functional muscle mass. But first and foremost, you cannot compare ballet to kpop dances. Ballet dancers only focus on the dancing and facial expressions while kpop idols sing as well, which makes it very tiring (im not saying ballet is any less tiring, of course not, but ballet dancers are trained in endurance specifically for that kind of effort) Besides that, most female kpop idols dont have much muscle mass, what they gain from dancing and training is all. You can see their 'abs' and 'biceps' because there's no fat to cover them. Kpop idols are NOT athletes and that little body fat on them is not normal. If I said something wrong or missed something put please let me know and correct me

이 노래 효린 파트 멜로디 라인이랑 가사 본인이 직접 만들었다는 거 다들 아십니까 난 엊그제 알았음ㅠ

연예인 진짜 아무나 하는거 아니구나.. 춤추는데 뱃살이 하나도 안보이는게 너무 충격적이다ㅋㅋㅋ글고 몸전체가 근육으로 다되어있는데 그럼 근육운동도 존나 많이 하면서 아예 안먹은 것같은데ㅜㅜ먹어도 맛없는거만 먹고 그러면서 엄청 힘들고 연체동물처럼 움직여야하고 그럼 근육운동 뒤에 근육 뭉치고 춤춘적도 있겠지 효린이 한 노력에 갑저기 눈물이 날것같다 내가 저런 춤추고 몸관리까지 했으면 진짜 스트레스받고 힘들어서 울것같아서 감정이입이되네

I love that when Hyolyn does that butt-lift move at 0:55-0:56 she actually lifts from her feet (and ABS OF STEEL) vs her knees?? Every other person I've seen do that move does it from their knees. No hate - just an observation and major admiration for Hyolyn's core strength !!! Woooooooow

I actually follow the choreographer. The idol learned some swag from Aliya and it looks great on her. Glad I bumped into this video!

I'd like to see Hyolyn re-record all her dances at her level now because even though she was already good here, she is way way better now. Her dancing skills have improved so much in the past 4 years. Considering how she was more of a singer but the fact that she was able to be on par with Aliya is amazing but I bet she can kill this routine 2022 version!

I’m so proud of Aliya, she has blown up this past year and I’m so happy she’s sharing her talent ❤️

민성우님이 댓글을 남겨주셨는데 뜨질않네요 "저런 춤을 보고 야하고 더럽다는 생각이 드는게 병신이지ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ" 라고..... 맞아요 효린님의 저런 멋지고 대단한 춤을 보고 야하고 더럽다고 생각하는게 음..이상한거죠 어디로봐도 멋있는 실력과 고급진 섹시 그 자체니까요 하지만 효린님이 춘 저 춤을 다른사람이 똑같이 추면서도 전혀 다른 느낌이 나게 할 수 도 있다는 걸 말하고 싶었어요. 사람을 잣대로 평가한다는 뜻이 아닌, 말 그대로 '춤'을 추는 사람 사이에도 급이 있을 테니까요 같은 동작이라도 저급한 느낌이 나게 추는 사람도 있어요 거기에는 춤을 추고자할 때 잘못된 해석을 해서일 수도 있고 여러가지 이유가 있겠지만요 아무튼, 제가 이 긴이야기를 굳이 구구절절하는 이유는 민성우님의 조금 과한 표현이 저를 포함한 여러 사람들에게 불편함 내지는 불쾌감을 느끼게하지 않았나 하는 생각이 들어서 고민 끝에 적어보네요 병신이라는 단어가 참 아름답지는 않으니까요 '저런 춤'이 단순히 춤동작 자체를 나타내는 것인지 아니면 효린님이 추는 모습을 뜻하는 건지는 정확히 모르겠으나, 해석에 따라 논란의 여지가 있는 문장이네요 저 또한 '야하다' '더럽다' 라는 표현을 썼지만 굉장히 조심스럽게 선택한 단어들인데 장민우님의 댓글을 보고 제가 뭐라고 생각해야하는지 갈피를 못잡아서요 글 중에 그것도 댓글로 논쟁하는 것을 평소 좋아하지도 않고 너무 예민하게 받아들이는 건가 싶기도 하지만 제가 쓴 댓글에는 저의 책임이 있다고 생각해서 조심스럽게 적어봐요

PSA like many of you i was tired of having my wig snatched so i removed it before clicking on the video. I currently sit in the ICU bc i was promptly scalped after proceeding to press the space bar. I would recommend industrial glue for the flying of wigs but going in with no wig at all is very risky.....Thank you for your time
