Just imagine what heaven will sound like with billions of saints praising the Lord Jesus Christ in perfect harmony. I can't wait. Will you be there? Don't miss out! (John 3:16 KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:36 KJV) He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

*PLEASE READ THIS COMMENT ENTIRELY* Christian don't need to fasting like Muslims do, because good work doesn't save us. If a man stands in front of a judge because he did something wrong. Then this man said, _"I will promise to do good things! Please make me free."_ You know what, *that promise will not save him from the punishment.* The problem is, this man is already doing something wrong. The things that he promised to do a good work is other matter. It doesn't make him free from the punishment. He needs someone to *substitute him* in order to make him free. We all know that we already sinned in Eden (Adam is our representative) and our good works have not saved us. Because of that, we need a redeemer. And the Redeemer is Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Then, *BELIEVE IN THE LORD JESUS, AND YOU WILL BE SAVED, YOU AND YOUR HOUSEHOLD!* Shalom from Indonesia. 🇮🇩✝️

Praise to the Lord, who o’er all things so wondrously reigneth, shelters thee under his wings, yea, so gently sustaineth: hast thou not seen all that is needful hath been granted in what he ordaineth? Praise to the Lord, who doth prosper thy work and defend thee; surely his goodness and mercy here daily attend thee; ponder anew all the Almighty can do, he who with love doth befriend thee. +Lynn Gayle me too Lynn. I feel like weeping sometimes. The old hymns have dignity, grace, adoration, a true spirit of worshiping God. He is holy yet merciful and forgiving and His love endures forever. I think about when John saw Our Lord in Revelation 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. and he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, "Fear not; I am the first and the last: John had leaned on the Lord the night of the Last Supper (or Passover meal) and now he saw him in His glorified form and he fell down before Him (as we all shall) but Jesus put his right hand onto his should and told him not to be afraid.

And Psalm 144:9 adds its voice to the chorus, “I will sing a new song to you, O God.”

Speaking religion openly is not shunned - unless it is of the Bible. This is very painful for those of us that see it. It makes us realize "where" it is all going - and it's going to get worse before it gets better. But it will get better! The book promises so ;-)

That is not acceptable worship before the true God. The true worshippers of The only True GOD can & will worship Him alone, without mixtures, by & in Spirit & in Truth. God is a jealous God. He won't share His glory with any woke ideology or another religion or false gods or the liberal or woke multi-faith one-world-NWO antichrist religion. We must serve the Living & only true God through Jesus Christ. So it matters what faith you're in to worship the only True GOD who is the Biblical God, of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob in Christ Jesus as He will not join in such idolatrous arrangements where any/all kinds of religions worship the only True God, while serving their idols or their religious gods.

Concur wholeheartedly. As the saying goes, "They don't make 'em like they used to." Those touchy-feelie, glad-handing "contemporary Christian" songs from the likes of Michael W. Smith, Hillsong, etc, devout and well-intentioned as they are, just don't convey the same sense of holiness or divine power & awesome glory of God that these old-school hymnals do.

Britain is protestant not Christian. The Bible and Christian history is Catholic and they broke from it 500 years ago. Whats worse they persecute Christians, look at Northern Ireland. It is very hard for protestants to admit the truth about the Bible but the truth is truth and this is history. The so called royal family live in luxury and wealth while seeing people go to food banks. Its a hoax and makes no sense. The true Kings and Queens of Europe were Catholic which is where it all came from in the first place. Since you have broken away how can it be claimed as your religion ?

From Pope Francis The whole World should be praying this right now ... I stopped what I was doing, bowed my head and said this prayer. It put tears in my eyes Let’s bow our heads and pray:🙏🙏🙏 Eternal Father, You made the whole World stop spinning for a while. You silenced the noise that we all have created. You made us bend our knees again and ask for a Miracle. You closed Your Churches so we will realize how dark our World is without You in it. You humbled the proud and powerful. The economy is crashing, businesses are closing. We were very proud, we thought that everything we have, everything we possess, was the result of our hard work. We have forgotten that it was always Your grace and mercy that made us who we are. We’re running in circles looking for some cure to this disease, when in fact we need to humble ourselves and ask You for guidance and wisdom. We’ve been living our lives like we will be here on Earth forever, like there’s no Heaven. Maybe these trials are Your mercy in disguise. Maybe this virus is actually Your way of purifying us, & cleansing our souls, bringing us back to YOU. Today as these words travel the internet, may all who see them join their hearts and hands together in prayer! Asking for forgiveness & asking for healing & protection from this virus... GOD just wipe it from the Earth! Father You have been patiently waiting for us. We’re sorry for ignoring Your voice.. and in our selfish ways, we've sometimes forgotten that YOU are GOD!😔 You only need to say the word and our souls shall all be healed. We ask these things in Jesus name! ... Amen 🙏🙏🙏Prayer for all🙏🙏🙏 KEEP SHARING..

Sorry but the Pope is a heretic, Jesus Christ said "You must be born again," and of those who did not believe in Him "You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies." The Bible is clear their are children of God, who are made so by faith and repentance in Jesus Christ, and those who are children of the devil, dead in their sins. I don't write this to shame you, but to warn you, the Vatican is corrupt and according to the Council of Trent - Canon 9, " If anyone says that the sinner is justified by faith alone, meaning that nothing else is required to cooperate in order to obtain the grace of justification, and that it is not in any way necessary that he be prepared and disposed by the action of his own will, let him be anathema. They deny salvation is by faith alone, therefore they do not represent Jesus Christ or His gospel, which alone allows one to call God by "Father".

It is a "descant" and not a "descount". A descant is a counterpoint melody to the main melody and is usually sung in an upper range compared to the main melody. Descants are common throughout English choral music and there are many hymns where more than one descant has been composed. A descant is particularly moving when sung by the pure unchanged voices of a boys choir such as that of Westminster Abbey or St Paul's Cathedral. Descants are also sung, to lesser effect, by mature female sopranos because of the inevitable vibrato of the trained voice.

Its not Gods throne. Bible is a Catholic book as is christian history. Its a protestant throne which means nothing.

I am always amazed at the wonderful, melodic, and majestic descants and the organ music from the Abbey...very moving and sacred. If only the people believed the words that they were singing...

Benjamin Reed Diana's chasing paparazzi obviously didn't believe the words, if they sung them at all.

No Ben, I don't think you are looking at the big picture. Look at what has happened to and within the Anglican Church, as a whole, in the last 50 years...more accurately, look at what has happen to all of the churches that call themselves Christian. 50 years ago we could trust our leaders to hold to the truths of the ancient foundations of the Christian faith...now it's "Let your conscience be you guide" "Jiminy Cricket's advice, I believe? ...and be who and whatever you want to be or believe...or even believe nothing.
