I have watched this video many times and consider Mr. Gunter Hoppe a designer that was/ is truly way ahead of his time, thank you!
My favourite Professor in the world !! Thank you Professor Hoppe. Love Love Love this. In 2002 you changed my life forever and I am so happy to continue to design vessels based on this technology.
Very interesting technology. It seems every Cat should install the hydrofoil
thank you
Good afternoon ... I was very interested in the topic, the combination of hydrofoil and catamaran! Not knowing before about the work of a respected author, I experimented with a model in full size ... But I set myself the task of creating a universal vessel, both a valuable motor boat and a full-fledged sailing ship ... After a series of experiments, certain conclusions can be drawn ... In this regard, I dare to ask a (maybe stupid) question? Why is the idea of moving on the support (of the wings) of the ship's hull applied in all the possible options (which I managed to get acquainted with on all various models of hydrofoils)? Ie a separate vessel and separate wings? Have you come across variants of a harmonious symbiosis, capable of equivalently using ships, both in displacement mode (with a lack of propulsion power) and on the wing (with sufficient power)? Once again, I apologize for the concern ... Advice would be very helpful for solving the problem. Yours faithfully ....
I wonder if a hydrofoil could be installed on a WorldCat 266SC boat ?
