I've thought about using one of those hand brake assemblies as a foot brake with a little ingenuity. Their so cheap it definitely wouldn't hurt to try.

I wonder is the Vevor easy to wipe off the metal shavings when its turned off? How much do you think it would reduce the holding power if you were to put something like construction paper down then when you turn off the magnet the filings would be on the paper. Just a thought.

I just purchased a used uh-10f hovercraft, have you ever considered building one. I am replacing the old engine with a predator 420. You have made me a believer in the predator engine.

When you need those odd size split collars you should just order a standard size it's just undersized and open them up in your lathe probably be cheaper
