I have a question. After you dip the shoes, do you spray a protective coat over the shoe before you remove the tape or after?

Yo bro. I'm living in my home country back in Mongolia. I'm originally from Seattle WA. Anyways I just needed some pointers and tips on hydrodipping. New to it completely but loving the way hydro dip looks. I was just wondering what kind of paint do you use? Just any random spray paint or anything specific? Just any mail polish remover work? What's the best tape to use to cover it? Anyways hope you can let me in on how you do it ground up. Btw I love the way this one came out with that candy colors.
