Three ideas to consider. 1. Try pressing a round trailer hitch ball (1 7/8, 2, 2 5/16 inch etc...)to a square shape. Or will it just explode? 2. Flatten or split a semi trailer 5th wheel hitch kingpin. These are extremely hard. 3. How much pressure does it take to break a train car to train car hitch coupler? What do you think?

Enjoy your videos. Consider this. Some like to twist trailer safety chains to effectively shorten them so they won't drag on the pavement and people say that twisting the links to shorten the chain causes the chain to fail with a lesser load than with the links not twisted. My suggestion is to do a test similar to the one shown here and then compare it to a test of the same chain but with it twisted.

Criss crossing the chains make the set up safer, and doing that will cause the chains to "lift" just slightly.
