How to differenciate gear and piston motor from gear and piston pump?cause vane motors has spring under that pushes the vanes out of the rotor slot;where as vane pump dont need spring to push the blades out.

Why the two gears instead of obliged round gear

The motor at they show at 1:33 is a geroler motor, not a vane motor lol.

Can you please suggest a hydraulic motor for a chainsaw that runs around 12000 rpm Thank you

If the reservoir is half hydraulic and pressurized air will help machine run forever by return the back flow to the air part and push the outlet hydraulic forever

You can use the air pressure only once , then you have to pump new air in it . It s not a perpetual motion.

Your idea may succeed if you implement it on very small scales, because losses are often minimal on very small scales.

English is my second language and I’m not confident that I’ll be able to explain this correct even in my native language. I have a mower that is propelled by hydraulic just like most of them do. A while back the pin that restricts movement on the levers for going back or forward came loose so both of them moved at the same time. After I putted back on place the hydraulic motor started making loud knocking sounds leaking fluid and moving as if it were on a frame by frame video (can’t explain it better) I know that I’ll have to replace that hydraulic motor and I’m fine with that but I would like to know what happened to it. I would appreciate a response but it doesn’t have to be anytime soon.

I did. They were kind enough to explain to me how f*ched up it was and helped me getting a new one installed.

Hydraulic motors rotate thanks to pressurized fluid, but i wonder the origin of pressure gain of the fluid, does the hyraulic motor have a pump that provides him with pressurized fluid?

@@pruthvirajbhople followup question, the pump needs energy to run right, so does it mean that having electric hydraulic pump -> hydraulic motor has advantages over electric motor ?

@@KK10155 with current technology, a similar sized hydraulic motor will create a much higher torque than its electrical counter part. Although I expect this to change in the next 10 years

Not enough clear animations to actually show what the narrator describes; this is what video is for, and without animation we might as well have plain audio!

This is a typical problem of this type of videos, narration and video are not sufficiently synced. Also, the pace is far to fast to grasp the concepts as well as the nuances. As a reminder and a general idea it is ok. As a true worshiper of SI using any units on such a level is despicable, though ;-)

I can only understand the gear motor. The two other types look like sorcery to me.

They are not properly explained, as the inlet and outlet of the hydraulics are not shown properly. In both there is an inlet which overlaps of close to but less than 180degrees on the expansion and an outlet of close to but less than 180degree in the housing. This is only vaguely hinted at. Maybe in the explanation of motors this is done better.
