Great video! Can’t believe these “meticulous mechanics” are worried about a little dirt around the working area, you cleaned the lines and where the oring sits. With no dirt getting into the pump I don’t see a problem. Keep up the good work!
You’re right, they put a lot of faith in that sealing system haha. Thanks for another video!
Wow 😮 as simple as replacing two o-rings. Who would have thunk 🤔 it was just an o-ring and not something more severe!
Another great video! Love watching your material, it’s nice to see young guys like you getting involved with the old iron classics!
The boy's that watch your video though you should have had more cleanliness .I believe you are showing how simple it was to work on tractors of that ear

I agree!! Ya the pump might be dirty but that doesn’t mean you can’t fix a couple o rings
Steel lines a are tough😮
You never said or showed if that fixed the leak
I would be more impressed if you had cleaned the area dirt kills hyd componets
For heavens sake even if you just use a plow gun and some wd40, clean it up, dirt causes leaks and destroys pumps and such.

BLOW gun, I don't know how that got through. Currently going through rehab for a knee replacement, must have been the pain meds

You can see no dirt got into the pump when they put it back together I don’t see an issue at all.
As an older meticulous mechanic, I cannot watch mechanics of any type, work on filthy dirty equipment without cleaning it before opening these machines up...I doubt a surgeon would do that before opening you up for any procedure.🤢🤢🤢

did you compare a 1950s gear pump to doing surgery? you sound like a fun guy at parties

You can see no dirt got into the pump when they put it back together, you need to relax.
