Jenny, thank you so much for this tour of your beautiful hydrangeas! 24:50 what a beautiful shot of your back lawn! I remember when you planted those young evergreens across the back to keep your privacy in case someone ever bought and developed the land behind you and cut down those trees. I hope that never happens. It’s such beautiful, magical sight to see the woods as a background to your beautiful gardens!

It is helpful to see the difference between the hydrangeas. I planted an oak leaf last year and I think it’s in too much sun even though it’s between large oaks. My limelight is huge too & I’ve pruned it up. I also have some of the pink and blue varieties. Love how your garden is turning out!

Awesome tour! Incrediball hydrangea owner here. Zone 7a. I have a miniature hedge of three outside my kitchen window and next to my front door. Three full seasons in ground, it is shaded and on irrigation. 5 minutes every 48 hours seems to be enough, 10 during hotter months. The floppy nature has improved a lot but still one of them tends to get downturned in heavy rain, they are not staked, although I did consider that this season. This is the first season I noticed a beautiful fragrance on mine, light almost like perfume, omg the bees could not get enough. I fell in love with them all over again. They are just about 5 feet tall now And about 5 wide. I did a light trim on them in the spring to encourage stronger blooms this year but ended up with smaller blooms which I am grateful for. Next year I may prune just a little more to try and get bigger blooms.

Yes,Jenny. Showing the different hydrangeas was so helpful! I acquired several hydrangeas when we bought this house seven years ago. I don’t know the varieties. I think I have a little lime hydrangea that looks like your limelight hydrangea. I think it is a little lime because it looks just like yours but smaller. It was limbed up but since I moved some hostas that were beneath it because in too much sun, I’ve noticed it is leafing out on the lower wood. It was so helpful to know that I can trim these off to keep its lovely shape and plant low growing plants below again. I’ve learned so much from you over the past couple of years. Thank you for your informative videos!

Hi dear ! Thank you for this helpful video, I enjoyed watching it.
Gatsby gal is on my wishlist for next year. I've been looking for a hydrangea that can take full sun. Thank you for this video. 💙

Good morning Jenny it rained here in Tn yesterday n last nite suppose to rain again today the hydrangeas are so pretty
Thanks for sharing this as I am slowly adding hydrangeas to my landscape. My luck is definitely with panicles.
Wow everything is stunning....🎉❤🎉so gives me hope of transforming a small field into a long time dream. Pikeville TN... southern problems ironing out.❤
I love the way you put your classes together! Very informative! I wish you would do a short or include the Fuji Waterfall Hydrangea after you moved it! I would like to know or see it! I was always interested in it when it was in your side shade garden! I know it’s not proven winners, but it’s a very beautiful hydrangea! Thank You!
Thanks for great info on Hydrangeas

You bet!
Loving all of my hydrangeas that I've purchased from you. Never was successful with hydrangeas until now. Love sitting in my living room and being able to see my Gatsby Gals (I have 3 of them). Also have the Invicibelle Mini Mauvette and Firelight Tidbit, which is definitely going to be bigger than 3 x 3. And I keep buying more. Just purchased a Let's Dance Arriba that I found on clearance at Lowe's (it wasn't even with in the clearance section).
got good info.
Loved this video Jenny, great information as always ♥️

Great video and thank you so much for sharing this information. I have my first seven Hydrangeas this year and it’s been a little nerve racking keeping them happy in Zone 9b.😊
Ugh! My hydrangeas got floppy with all of the rain that we had this past week. Thank you for this video!
Hey y'all! I've loved Proven Winners for a very long time & I really enjoyed this video! I'm a new subscriber from Charlotte - soon to be Concord! I'm moving in with my daughter and son-in-law (newlyweds) & the yard NEEDS a lot! I've been taking perennial & hydrangea notes like a crazy person! I've also got to check out a map between us & Creekside! Thanks for sharing so many tips & so much knowledge with us! I used to be a Garden Answer sub/follower; but, I'd rather see what's going on in my own state! Thanks for helping us thru rain AND sun!
We had all the rain and storms right before you here in southeast Alabama and by far, my white wedding hydrangea did the best. It’s in its first year and did not skip a beat and not floppy at all like some of my others. I got a limelight prime this year to see how it varies from limelight here, so I’m anxious for it to bloom so I can see how it does 😍
This was absolutely informative and entertaining, thanks for the vast knowledge and information you gave us.

This video came to me at the perfect time. I'm deciding on which hydrangeas to add to my southern garden zone 7a. So far, I have one Bobo and Little Lime, and both are doing very well. I may add a Pufferfish and another Little Lime. Thank you for sharing all the helpful information.
This was fantastic. Loved it, thank you. I’m a bit north of you in mid Maryland. My Little Limes are at same stage as yours. We do get great color change on them here for anyone wondering. Have added some PW Zinfin Dolls, first year blooming so will see. Added this spring PW Limelight Prime and PW Fire Light. Can’t wait to see how they do.
I love all the hydrangeas. I have 3 Limetta Invincible on the eastern side of my house, and they do very well there. I also have 3 Little Limes on the North Side in part Sun/part shade and they are doing great as well. Hydrangea definitely benefit from protect from the full hot sun.
I am so appreciative for all the information / tours you share with all of us home gardeners . Your nursery was a joy to visit and see in person. I am not going to lie , I was a little star struck lol . My husband had a great time talking with Jerry . 😊

Love this video, planning to buy a Hydrangea for my garden. Thanks a lot, will have to check out what is available near me (Aust.).
Got a couple pufferfish after seeing your previous video-they are doing great and about to bloom in Raleigh- have problems figuring out things that only get a few hours of sun but full late afternoon sun- burned up mountain hydrangeas, katsura pieris, Wolfpack azalea- just learning though and appreciate your info greatly- hoping to get to your nursery in next month or so! She wasn’t kidding-big rain for a week here
Thank you thank you for this video,im in zone 8a and this is informative jenny.

You’re welcome 😊
Very informative. I live in Canada zone 3b 🥶. I have tried a couple of times growing Hydrangeas and they don’t survive. My Mom had the one with the HUGE cream coloured blooms. It was beautiful (zone 5) and git afternoon sun. I haven’t given up. I am determined to find one that will grow in my yard. Thanks again for the info. I have been inspired.
I have found that putting peony cages over my Annabelle hydrangeas helps keep them from flopping!
Thank you so much Jenny! That shot of lawn was impeccable! Do you have any macrophylla, endless summer hydrangeas?
We had a massive downpour this afternoon -much needed but would have been better if the rain came more gradually. My hydrangeas all look great-no flopping. But my dinner plate hibiscus is splayed flat. Hoping it bounces back as it dries out. And the Phlox is pretty battered too. But my hydrangeas are loving life.
I am a big fan of the deep blue hydrangeas. I do have a couple I have no idea what kind they are.
