Minji probably contributed to the popularity, but that doesn’t equate to throwing shade towards her anymore than all people commenting on jjapaguri are throwing shade at parasite or class divisions, or else that Baby Shark movie is way deeper than I thought. Because the members are young, I don’t think they thought about the reason it was popular so much as it’s the thing they see being brought up on their feeds and such, so any shade being thrown is by whomever came up with the options and not the people picking.
