Is the ASD same as foramen ovale? Foramen ovale is fusion failure and could ASD be due to endocardial cushion defect?

Nope bro... ASD is due to default formation of either the septum primum or secundum... PFO is failed fusion but normal septas. Hope you got it....❤.
