Hi Mike, just to say that I somehow managed to pass both step 1 and step 2 CK back to back over a 10 week study period studying for both exams while working a full time job (step 1 after 8 weeks, step 2CK 2 weeks later) using only your resources! I’m an international graduate who is going to the US on fellowship so just needed to pass 2CK to be allowed to take the post, so wasn’t aiming for a massive score in 2CK (still happy with my 240 though) , so I’m delighted. Thanks so much for your time and effort. I make sure to recommend your resources to everyone.

Free on his website. Only did his PDFs (all of them, basically a FA replacement) and NBMEs. He himself would seem to not recommend this but I simply didn’t have time for UW with my work schedule

I only used his PDFs and NBME practice tests. I did ALL of his PDFs though (there’s about 30 on the website) and knew them very well, then tested regularly using NBMEs and learned my incorrects. I didn’t have time for UW, FA, B&B, Anki or any other resources. Mehlman himself probably wouldn’t recommend this approach but it worked for me!

Is it for step 1 or step 2?

Why is the treatment just acetaminophen? Would you start some po abx to cover for strep as a cause of lymphangitis (since its the most common cause)

Thanks for the content! Just to be sure, normal phlebitis caused by peripheral vascular catheter IS treated with warm compresses and NSAIDs right? it's only the superficial venous thrombophlebitis tx with heparins

Never seen warm compresses as nbme correct answer. Catheter associated thrombophlebitis is treated with excision of the vein on new 2CK nbme
