just wanting u to know that even after 10 years, your tutorial is still useful for many people, i've just bought this camera, an used one, but because is a old model, i cant find a lot of videos about it, this is my first camera and you are basically saving me!!!!
Thank you so much for these videos. I have just bought a used HX300 camera and I was at a loss as to just what the camera and myself were capable of. Will be returning to these videos on a regular basis I feel. Thank you again.
Thank you, I just purchased a good used HX300 and I've been dropping a whole mass of SD cards into it wondering why it wouldn't recognize anything over 32GB. I couldn't find it in the manual and nowhere on line. You're the only one who knows obviously. Thanks for letting me know.Even the Samsung U3 10 wouldn't work and yet it works in a 4k camera with no worries. Bloody Sony never seem to stay with the crowd.
I just bought my Hx300, I've searched everywhere these kind of video but no where to find. So thank you, sir. Great video.
your awesome, I just purchased my first camera besides those cheap digitals and my cell phone cameras. I was totally clueless on how to work anything on my new Sony DSC Cybershot hx33. I just started watching you videos and am going to continue watching the rest after work. I have to say its nice to see someone who knows their stuff to take the time and effort to make the series HOW TO videos. I love this camera already. I searched tons of videos and found tons of useless unboxing videos and honestly who wants to see you open a box and give the same review on opening that box to thousands of people and thousands of people have made those videos! lol anyways love the in depth videos. Thanks. Hopefully you'll be around for questions seeing the videos are a couple years old.
I got this camera for my birthday 2 years ago and I was never able to really use it because I just didn't know how. its only the second vid I watch from the series but I'm already un derstanding my camera. I had never understood the difference between all the additional details on the DS cards.now I understand it.
Awe man, thank you so much for your videos. I just picked up this camera and the built-in guide is not sufficient to put it mildly. Your videos have helped me learn so much more about the camera and it's various functions. Please do continue to put them out! Cheers.
thank you so much for this info. i have absolutley no knowledge of any of these things and your videos have helped a lot. they are definetly starter friendly
Its such a great help for us non-IT people; thanks heaps
really helpful! I've had this camera for 6 years and finally understand more about it! lol thank you!
Great video. I'm looking forward to the series. Thanks
great series, really hope you continue, thanks for the help
Just bought a DSC HX300 and downloaded the manual. Reams and reams of info, but too much to take on board. Your videos are excellent, they get straight to the important bits that really matter to get going. I look forward to the more advanced tuition as I get more familiar with the camera. John C (UK)

Excellent Videos on the Sony H300. Any change you could do the same set of videos for the newer Sony DSC-HX400V?

good info.
Great video, does the sd adapter for the micro card add to any slowness to the camera?
hi how can export my videos from my simcard to my external hard drive wit my mac book pro
Hay Michael I heard that we can connect different types of filters 'especially the macro filter' on the 55mm thread. Can i do it on my HX300 ? Can you please do an episode on different types of connectable filters, converters and the remotes ?
You really rocks man..
hi does the DSC H300 support a 64 GB memory card?
Great information, how many episodes are and will be in total? It is obvious the best way to explore and practice a new product. I had the DSC-T70 and I thought it would be easy to use another Sony. Your episodes (up to 5th) are a live and full detailed manual! Thank you very much, I am looking forward for the next one! Kind regards from Greece, Yiannis.
I don't know why but I purchased SanDisk all the time but saw 2 pack of 16 gig micro pny with adapter for 12.99 but the adapters just blink on my laptop and then I use a SanDisk adapter and they work fine
A1 info just the job
Nicely done and great camera. I'm glad Sony didn't just stick to their proprietary memory, which oro0ingally steered me away from Sony.
I have HX300. it is working perfectly 3 years.. now i m facing problem, when i insert memory card in memory slot screen shows- insert memory card what should i do??? please provide solution....

just set your camera to "playback" - (that's the little triangle/arrow icon, on the back of the camera) and you will see all the photos taken, starting with the one you just took.
