I drove Highway 1 and my passengers were terrified. I enjoyed the beautiful trip stopping at various beaches along the way. Wonderful road.

Took a road trip from Colorado to LA then took Highway 1 to Seattle, what an adventure! 3 weeks! Can't wait to do it again

No joke it took my husband and I 3 1/2 days in an RV, What am amazing adventure!

Page Mill Road to Alpine to 1 is a great way to get there.

Over the fourth-of-july weekend me and my uncle swapped a new engine into his NA Miata. We were able to get it done in 4 days, both having bad backs lol. It was a beautiful day so we took the top off. I drove us up Highway 1, stop being roughly 15 miles past rugged point. And he drove us down. It was such a beautiful drive and great experience. He has been driving these roads since he was little, so you could imagine how fast he was able to send it down. Of course being safe and respecting other drivers. If anyone is reading this, this is your sign to drive up Highway 1. Especially if you like wildlife. Driving past Hearst Castle, we saw some zebras.

Beautiful drive from Washington state to San Francisco. I did this in 2019, I forgot what city I started in Washington though.

I did this trip in 2020 from leggett to Santa Maria. Driving the type r thorough the tree in leggett was scary but the drive was amazing. I recommend starting at leggett. The best Twisties are there and don't be scared you can definitely do more than 40 in the corners.

Highway 84 to La Honda then to Highway 1 is excellent.
