EW is not meant to be used in combos, its a zoning skill. People dont get that idk why. Its kinda like ziggs minefield that you place to block/disencourage people to walk into a specific direction. Can be used to zone melees from farming under tower, block jungle passages. If it doesnt hit its still fine as long as you used it to prevent the enemy from doing what you needed. You already have 2 strong ccs on EQ and EE.

EW doesn't last long enough to zone as well as ziggs mine or orianna ball. maybe after the next patch, theyll lower the damage for a longer threatening and lasting root. good eye

I think the fear thing is a mechanic thing. Happens with ahri charm too. It could be that to check where to make the enemy run from/to the game checks the position of the player, but if the player dies between cast and projectile hit, the calculation fails and the cc stops

The thing about Hwei shield that makes it really nice is that it's constantly generating shields while you're standing in the zone. So you end up getting more out of it than you'd originally think.

I don't feel like the stun was designed to be an easy to land stun but rather a map control stun. Video time 25:00 is a perfect example of map control you gained from the stun. You can block off some regions of the map such as left top side bush near tower when pushing to cut off an enemy or guarantee safety. Use it this way and it's actually pretty powerful considering how many spells he actually has in his kit (and the fear already being a great CC spell).

he is going to be a monster without the item restrictions. Castors + Liandry + Stormsurge + Shadowflame + Rabadon is going to be the most picked i’m assuming

I've been playing Hwei for a good few games and one combo i've been really appreciating is EE into ult, no matter how you off-center E, it pulls everything into the center of your cursor so while the maw opens you throw out Ult, so when by the time the maw sucks everything into the center, it guarantees Ult hits cuz Ult's hitbox is so thin. Though it doesn't have the same width as Nidalee javelin, it's still hard to hit when movementspeed and people who actually know how to dodge come into play, after the EE + Ult, you can either opt for Oneshot which is QQ or if you don't want them to chase you, QE. Though I left out the W branch, it boils down to me wanting to sometimes WQ away, though people can use WE BEFORE the combo string to give yourself a little bit of that empowered ability damage

Subject: Asking for a tank Cassiopeia (on the Rift or the Abyss). Days asked: 251, days skipped: 7, winrate: 97.287% Core items: Archangel's, Heartsteel OR Iceborn Gauntlet, Demonic OR new Riftmaker OR new Liandry's Situational items (pick some): new Rod of Ages, Rylai's, Abbysal Mask, Spirit Visage OR Force of Nature, Gargoyle Stoneplate OR new Jak'Sho, Frozen Heart, Warmog's, pretty much any new tank item Primary runes: Grasp, Demolish, Conditioning, Overgrowth OR standard Conqueror. Secondary runes: Manaflow, Gathering Storm OR Presence of mind, Last stand. Extra facts: You want Archangel's first, because Cass is so mana hungry.
