Naaah briar is the literal manifestation of "YOLO" and "full send"

She's very strong, but her glaring weakness is that you can't control her 100% of the time. She's the personification of an all or nothing play style where you're forced to go in no matter what. Sounds like she'll very similar to Master Yi where she'll either get ultra fed, or be useless and waiting for a moment to clean up. Except with her being able to run a bruiser/tank play style she's basically a safer version of yi

@@tokumei6666 It's super easy to press R to int. Look at the Yone clip. That kill happened just because Zwag missed his ult. And later on he almost got a heart attack because he missed another ult straight into the enemy fountain. Zwag said it himself, it's very very easy to mess up with Briar because you're out of control during her combat. The only control that you have is when do you engage, and how. After that, the champion has to play itself to be useful.

zwag, i believe that her W dash is coded like flash where if the wall is slightly larger than the dash range she'll be pushed through it instead of being stopped. that's why she can pass through walls that seemed so large

Infinity might actually be a good item for her. You get ad for passive, and I think her second activation of w counts as a crit meaning it is amped by crit damage. She also has a ton of ad and as meaning crit chance is pretty good on her. In fact, a crit ad build might be viable on her.

This is the best Zwag video where so many unintentional things are working out like planned XD

I was bothered the whole time at how you were only referring to her Q as a gap closer, and then it was just so funny when you were confused at CCing the Jhin at one point. The Q had a stun attached to it, so you should probably always Q as soon as you get to someone with W.

not sure if you noticed but the second W cast, the aa reset, does missing health damage, and heals you by a portion of damage dealt, so use it when the objective is lower health, does more damage, heals you more.

I feel like she will make an excellent tank since she’s forced to fight with her abilities, plus she has a good amount of cc, gap closers, and sustain

Do you mean that pretty much classic ad tank build with Titanic hydra, Sterak's and other items in full hp? Not sure how it's really will be in game, but since part of her healing scales with HP, this sounds good. Her base damage feels good and in late game with those items looks like she still will do massive damage and not pops after getting in cc while in frenzy.

Heartsteel briar… gross as hell

If I were to describe Briar for her playstyle, it would be "go big, or go home". Jokes aside, she is a high risk high reward champ thanks to the frenzy and the unstoppable ult.. She can be considered broken in the right hands, since her damage output is insane, she heals a lot, and she has amazing chase and mobility. Not to mention that you went Bruiser build and got a pentakill. Lethality build can one shot, but you'd want to use Briar mainly for that amazing sustain and damage.. By amazing, I mean it's like K'Sante's two forms conjoined into one person. The weaknesses she has is she only has one chance to cancel her W unless she kills her target, and the ult has so much room for misplay. Her early game is weak, so she needs a little bit of support or good early game teammates to finish off the low hp laners.

Super good game. Loved it when you hit that yone, you totally are a pro my guy! That’s why we watch you! 😊

By the way, how her w and ult berserk work is that it targets the closest thing to you. That’s why you can reassign it with your targeting with q. This also means that if there’s multiple people you can be kited “easily” by them switching who your targeting by moving back and forth.

I think its quite cool the route riot took with the champ abillites and making your healthbar much more of a resourse, the only thing I am worried about is how much antiheal would affect her playability. If a whole team builds grevious wounds, you lose half of your tankiness immediately

Imagine being in a teamfight and after that briar hits you. From across the map she instantly gets into your team and fears everyone around her like fiddlesticks does for 1.5 seconds. After that she becomes Master Yi and kills your entire team. But along with that she can jump over walls and heal like WW. She's gonna get nerfed to the ground really soon lol.

Her W recast scales with missing health as an execute so I feel like always using it to finish of enemies or at the end of the berserk would be optimal

Thinking about it, the Red or Blue pet may be better than the green in the long run. The blue pet in my opinion is probably the best just because of the movement speed and given that her character is mostly close range and needs to run up, I think that's a good idea to use

From what I've seen, though further testing is needed, it would probably be a good idea if her E reset her Q if it slams someone into a wall. I know he made her look good but I've seen others try her and she's very awkward and you might know what I mean.

Sion’s knock up charges as well and that’s where the similarity ends, and the R functions much differently to Vex’s (doesn’t reset on takedown, much further range, slower travel speed, and is a steroid). Pantheon Q is fair but idk if Pantheon’s stuns.

I swaer, Briar looks fun as hell and my play style. I played noct way back when and it reminds me so much of going in and going ham on one person back in the day before a dedicated jungle role. I imagine some of her numbers will be reduced, and probably range of the ult just a bit. In the end she is EXTREME high risk and high reward because of that self berserk.

OMG I enjoyed it so much! I don't think her kit is the busted one but her damage ratios. Her skill just like you said, you can really mess it up, so decision making is a must. Great video! That Yone kill in the early game to the Base to Base ult in the end haha please try her as AP. Thank you!

Therory craft time for a nutcase Tank Briar build in top or mid Runes can be Conq or PTA, triumph, tenacity, last stand or cut the grass, conditioning, and overgrowth [players digression for the last 3 runes] I also thought about Grasp but it can be hard stack depending on the matchup E start to help clear wave, Q for short trades, W for when you want to all in Up to you what you wanna max first recommended Q or E max first depending on build then W max Build a BoRK [since it is kinda busted] then go Heartsteel for cd and hp, or Jacshos for extra armor and mr, into a Titanic Hydra. Boots can be armor, mr or attack speed [if you wanna be funny take cd]. Last 2 items [or 3 if you wanna be a degenerate and run no boots] can be a variety of ad, healing or more tank stuff such as Deaths Dance for more sustain with your life steal, Spirits Visage for the same reason, Steracs Guage if you want a sheild, Abyssal Mask if their team is a bunch of ap pricks, Gargoyle Stone Plate if you wanna become Big Briar, your choices are nearly endless Have fun trying this idea out.

btw, you didn't note it during the video, but her W's recast does missing health damage, which is the reason why you'd want delay using it a bit and not just smash recast immediately. Also since the healiing is based on damage dealt, you'll heal more too.

So her W being an execute means you want to recast the bite towards the end of the Ws self taunt to maximize the execute damage, but also bite before the enemy can maybe gain some distance from you, but that doesn’t seem likely since she’s so fast, and it also heals based to the damage the bite does, meaning the lower they get, the more damage the bite does and the more it will heal for. Pretty cracked
