Yeah, when I first got there, you know the technician brain just starts going and going and going until you just overthink it and it’s something simple

I guess I got one of the good Trane units. It was installed when I moved into my new built house in 1997. It is AC and gas Furness. I have replaced one mother board ($90) on the Furness and had a Tech replace a capacitor on the compressor unit and add a small amount of freon, that was 2 years ago which was 25 years after installation. It is still working today. I think I have got my money's worth.

Don’t you love the new and improved units. The older Trane Reliatels had the same situation where you had to use their dc t-stats .

What had change sense they installed the unit. I'm sure they have used the system sense they installed it.

Yes a previous tech went out there and removed all the time delays so he wouldn’t have to wait for units to turn on after he did the PM

I was never a fan of trane RTU furnaces and split A/C units. Chillers are ok though.

I believe it a higher efficiency precendent if im not mistaken has ecm condenser fan motors and variable speed compressors

Anything can stop any of them. Quality is crap now days
