You can take the pump out of the housing and make it lighter. I used to do the seals on site, easy work. With external seals, you don't even have to remove the pump or motor. Just take the coupling apart. This motor looks like the internal seal. Work easy not hard !

@@brianmckenna8495 I think they're required under contract to make like-for-like replacements unless specific replacements aren't available.

You need to up your rates. Track record, knowledge of the building, and quality of work speak for itself. 500-600/hr should do it.

My man, I'd recommend getting Crescent's Spud Wrench. I'm a Fire Sprinkler Service Tech and we always deal with Jockey Pumps and OS&Y's valves that deal with flanges. Just a recommendation brother because the Spud Wrench helps align the holes for the bolts. Other than that I love your videos and love learning from them! 🤘🤙

Normally I don’t post comments but watched your videos and noticed that the pump was installed backwards from the start. Compare the volute on the sister pump to this one. You will notice the flow arrow is different.

Looks like a braze plate heat exchanger, they're prone to leaking when they get cold, which might have happened when you were changing the pump. When heated up it should stop, if not then it's probably faulty.
