Every homeowner loves their 460 rancher. And every homeowner that cuts with one of my pro saws is blown away. Like they can't even imagine a saw could have been better the their 460.

I love my 450 rancher but this is year 2 of processing my own firewood for the wood stove. I am in VA with mostly hard woods and i need to move up to a pro saw . What would be your recommendation for a homeowner that does all his own firewood.

@@kodybecker89what’s the biggest you go. A 550xp mark ii is an unbelievably perfect balance of power and weight. Just do get pissed off “cuz it doesn’t start.” Read the owners manual to understand how the choke/half choke works on them (they’re different then previous models) and you will absolutely love it

Have had 455 and 460 ranchers for years, recently bought a 562xp mark ii and I'm here to tell you it's like night and day. The 562xp is better in every way and the power is WAY better, handles a 24 inch bar perfectly

Anyone who’s a home owner, you can absolutely cut anything you’d be wanting to cut with your Husqvarna 460 Rancher. Anything bigger is for sure a little extra and unnecessary that saw runs great.

Appreciate the good honest review! My 460 is coming in today, just got it to cut trees around the property, mainly firewood... The 440 i had doesn't quite cut it with the larger trees

I'm an old wore-out west coast logger boots used to used to run Stihl chainsaws all the time just started running a few Huskies cutting firewood they're bad ass saws aswéll ain't they

Yeah man I remember when I got a 455 rancher, was my biggest saw then. Now I've got a Dolmar 7900 and that thing blew my mind, loved it so much I had an old 6421 port and polished with the large top end and it's a monster!

I've been looking at getting a 460, already have a husky 592XP and a 572XP with 42 and 36 in bars, just after something a little bit smaller for the light cutting end

love my 460 with a skip tooth never a problem cutting anything

460 rancher hits y0u different then a stihl!

i have a 460xp...nowhere on it did it ever say RANCHER...are they different?

Well 460 is definitely not an XP. All 4 series saws are (home and farm) saws. XP's are either 3 or 5 series saws. The first # is the series, next 2 are the cc's.

Rancher won't hold up for hard work
