This bike looks so damn clean, great job! Everything is so fucking dialed in. Started with the 401. Stolen, but wow what a great bike. I miss it, despite "upgrading". I know in my future i'll have another small light bike like this, maybe even another vitpilen. I was approached constantly with this bike, almost every time i went out which was daily!

Thank you! Sorry to hear your 401 was stolen. Agreed, these bikes get a lot of attention due to their unique aesthetic. I always liked how these 401’s don’t look like they are trying to emulate a larger bike from the same manufacturer. Most of the other bikes in the class; ninja 400, R3, CBR, all look like they are trying to be their bigger sibling. Thank you for watching and for the support!

My compliments mate!! You made it really nice!!! I have the Svartpilen...how did you take out all the entire "foot peg piece"? I tried but it doesn't come out... 🙄

Thank you for the compliment! Are you referring to the passenger foot pegs? I believe on the svarts the rear sets are a little different.

Nice clean bike, I might be looking into the Fuel X Lite or similar for my svart-401. You do know about the Vitpilen 701, right? Maybe those aren't available in the US.

Thank you! I think you’ll be happy with the Fuel X Lite, it has some limitations since it uses the signal from the o2 sensor. However, it gets the job done for the price. I do know about the Vit 701, but the aesthetics are not as good on the 701’s. They look more like a cruiser. For whatever the reason Husqvarna didn’t get the scale right on those. Probably why you never see 701’s and there’s not much aftermarket for them either. Thanks again for watching.

@@ridewithKY True about the looks of the 701s. For me at least, the Svart701 has better aesthetics than the vit, I think it comes down to it looking more rugged and giving of a sort of flat tracker vibe which I like. I’m doing a few 3d printed mods for my svart, plate holder for one. To be honest they look quite nice on it, but I think the milled aluminum looks way better on your vit.

Lo siento, mi español es limitado. Tablero en inglés creo es “the dashboard”? Si es correcto, no pensando en Duke 390 tablero. Creo que BadWinners hace un tablero para Vitpilen/Svartpilen pero es muy caro. Gracias por verlo. Espero haberte ayudado.

Hey men, thanks for your videos, I’m planning to change the grips of my vitpilen, but I found almost no information on the web about the models I could install, more than Ali express things, I have nothing against them but I would love to check all the options available on the market, have you any idea of which brands can I get? I always like the domino grips so that’s what I would personally recommend. Although to be honest I’ve only used domino so I don’t have anything else to compare it to. Let me know if there is anything else I can help with. Thank you for watching!

I want one, but I have a few questions. Does the vitiplien have tubes in them. If yes, can you put tanus armor on the tubes. I'm a short rider 28 inseam with my boots it's about 30. With all the suspension dialed in how soft can you get it, like how low can it go without a lowering kit? Thanks in advance

The Vitpilen’s do have tubes in them. I’m not sure about the tanks armor on the tubes. I wouldn’t feel comfortable giving you that type of advice about tires unless I was absolutely sure. I have a short inseam too. My inseam is about 30 on a good day right after waking up lol. Luckily the pre load out back is easily adjustable so you can sag that rear a bit. The seat height on these bikes is pretty high but because it’s so light it’s manageable. If you have some riding experience you’ll be fine with the seat height. Thanks for the insight. I sat on the vitiplien at my local dealer. Still a full tip toe at stock just curious how much the rear can go, could barely kick the stand up. I have riding experience, just never sat on something so tall before. Anyways thanks love the detail in the mods you did.

I’m the same. I’m tip toeing both feet if I have both feet down. If I only have one foot down I can get the ball of my foot firmly planted. For you, I would sag that rear shock all the way down and it’ll give you some play once you sit on it. These bikes have pretty soft suspension so depending on your weight, that’ll bring it down too with the preload all the way out. Don’t let the height deter you from enjoying one of these. You can for sure do it. Cheers bro.

That carbon fiber rear tire cover is fire. Is rhere any reason you didt remive the front fender, ir replace it with a carbon fiber for cohesion?

I would have but unfortunately there isn’t a carbon front huger available for these. Even the rear hugger is actually for a KTM and is not originally intended for a 401. Just a product of these bikes not being that popular compared to the Duke/RC 390. Thanks man.

​@ridewithKY yeah I understand, I've been scouring the Internet for some of the more uncommon parts/mods. I saw a guy here on youtube with a dual exhaust (one pipe on either side), but can't seem to find any bolt-on option like that... Again thanks for the info. Just had my 2023 Vitpilen 401 delivered yesterday and am looking to see what mods are worth/not worth the $$$

The tail tidy is a projekt racing unit, I believe you have to get it direct from them as I did. The carbon rear hugger is a Tyga Racing piece which you can either get direct from Tyga or get it from Formula 390.

In ur opinion is better than the mt-03?

MT03 is a solid bike, it’s just boring. If you want a beginner bike that’s just easy to live with everyday, then the MT03 is a good choice. Beyond that, I’d rather have something else.

@@ridewithKY mmm..in terms of? I’ve a vit 401 (2023) it s difficult for me go beyond 60mhp because i don t feel stable otherwise my friend have a mt-03 and don t have this problems

If your bike is unstable at 60 mph, then that is an issue somewhere else with the bike. Such as tire pressure, suspension adjustment, tire wear, etc. It should not be unstable at 60mph, that’s hardly any speed at all.
