I’m glad I know what love looks like, with my husband. I’m sure many people already know what love looks like with the people they love. Sherpa is blessed to be so loved and taken care of everyday by Jamie. And many people love their pets just as much as these two do.

@@JMarieCAlove they're not "pets" if you're doing it right. They're family. Also, a dog is 10x more loyal than any human could ever be. They're also smarter, more compassionate, and overall better creatures than people.

Seeing Sherpa chase his tail & talk to *EVERYONE* he meets all I can think is *"Yep it's official Sherpa's back to normal."* 🐺💙🐺

Jaime, your care for Sherpa is world class, exceptional. He is one very lucky pooch to have you as family.

Because of you, Jamie, Sherpy has the best quality of life. Because of Sherpy, Jamie has the best quality of life.

I can't believe he can find those treats you throw out. Pretty amazing. keeping him sharp.

Jaime you look & sound good. I know the stresses w/Sherpa's eye surgery was so hard!!🥺 Sherpa is his talkative & happy go lucky self again!! That encounter w/puppy was so nice!!!🤗 You're a good Dad!👍🐺🥰

Would love to see Sherpa train the next puppy.. while he still has the energy, and teach him all about chicken balls. He would be a great big brother.

I'll bet the sleepiness is from Isoflurane, an inhaled anesthetic. Halothane is also used and is out of the body pretty much instantly. Isoflurane is fat soluble and is slowly expelled from the body in about a week. It's what leads to that draggy feeling you after surgery. Sherps is acting exactly how I would expect. Alert but easily tired.

You give me hope for humanity. The love you and Sherpa have for each other is so beautiful. I love that he is feeling so good he chases his tail. What couple of great guys.

He’s healing wonderfully Jamie, he’s such a strong boy! I’m always amazed at how quickly he bounces back from everything. That proves how much love and wonderful care he gets from you. I think that would be a great idea to get a puppy, that’s what we did when my GSD/Husky Gretchen started getting older. She loved having the puppy around. Thanks for sharing Jamie, sending love to both of you 💙💙🐾🐕🐾

One of these days sherpy is going to catch that floofy tail of his and not know what to do with it. LOL! He’s so happy when he’s there.

What beautiful beaches! And I bet you two had a a wonderful time. It’s nice to get a way to relax and see a new scenery and hear the ocean. The beaches you two were at reminds me of where I lived in Cambria, California, on the central coast, a small town on the coast. The beaches look about the same. My husband and I lived a cross the street from the Pacific Ocean, where he grew up since he was a kid. I’m from Los Angeles so it was a big difference living in a city to living in a very small beach town. Highway 1 takes you up the coast to Monterey and Carmel. A beautiful drive. My husband’s niece lives in Chippenham, so I hope we can visit her and her family and I hope to visit the beaches on the Englands coast, too! Sherpa is too cute! 😁💖
