Now live in NM, last game attended Troy loss, sat in middle of row in So. End zone about halfway up. Before that, on top row No. end zone with my 80 year old mom. Both experiences rough. Sorry, can’t imagine enduring a south or north experience again without seat backs and a tiny bit of legroom.

My grandma had tickets row 92 in the middle. Sucks trying to get a beverage and food. I never left my seat to go to the bathroom for all the work it would take to get back up.

This is one of the major, if not the major reason, that Trev chickened out and bailed out.

How about giving the grandfathered ticket holders a 25% discount of going price into perpetuity

What about seats being available to all income brackets? I’m all for handicap accessibility but a lot of these changes are for the rich and accessibility is a guise to make things more suited to older individuals who have more money.

I was getting my season tickets for just under 900 for 2 seats. Bye bye cheap seats 😢

My family has 2 very good seats in the west stadium. Have been in the family since the early 60's. Love the seats but I doubt we hold on to them if we have to pay 2500 per seat as a seat licence each year when the due away with the grandfathering. I also have 2 seats in the North Stadium. I pay the minimum seat licence. I actually like the seats.

Move all the students to North stadium

( i wrote this before i listened, and i agree wirh sipp.) Postpone the effin project negotiations and donations until after this year... you're essentially delaying it for Dylan raiolas time at Nebraska which is 2-3 years top's, but that's good cause Going 8-4 this year might help the boosters feel more comfortable opening up there checkbooks... But I wouldn't pay more then season tickets until something is proven on the Field. There's a standard we Nebraskans are born with and we expect. But we are on the right path it seems... I say once again

Lincoln gets huge benefits, so if they want to pay for it that's fine. It's ridiculous to think someone in the panhandle, where they get no benefits, and who may not even like football or NU would have a tax increase to pay for stadium renovations over 300 miles away

Just speculation, but maybe they anticipate increased demand for tickets over the next couple years. So they dont want to reduce seating capacity

Is there a way to set up a trust that could be pulled from to help Nebraska pay NIL? If NIL goes in house, do you think it would be a possibility. I ask this question with limited knowledge of Trusts. Or...anything.

Can’t they just build up below south station and fill in all that empty space with restrooms, concessions, etc etc? Can they build and exterior concourse to the south of south stadium?

Spend the money on the team until we're winning again and then we can discuss renovations.

Move all the grandfather ticket holders to the south stadium for the time being and then collect all the extra money that you raise selling their premium seating for further improvements

Fyi. South and north stadium are not 100 yrs old. Today's current south stadium was built in 2 phases. In 1964 and 1972

You guys keep saying that the Big 10 is one of the elite powerhouse conferences, and we are trying to be an elite team within that conference again. We have all these elite facilities for the team being built, locker room, weight room, recovery, VR stuff. Does the South stadium feel elite to you?

The time to redo the South was over the last 5 years when donors were having to buy thousands of tickets to keep the sellout streak alive. If the team gets rolling and starts winning 9-10 games a year will there ever be another time to do it?

Tickets to the Colorado game being minimum $300 is a bit much for two sub .500 teams though..

Allegedly the people that they paid 5 million to for fundraising had only managed to raise 15 million as of a month ago. Was not going to happen. Had the money been there Dannen would have moved forward with it is how I see it.

We are coming off some years that we couldn’t even sell our tickets when we couldn’t go, let alone ever get our money back when we do sell them. Now they want to charge the fans that have been with the program the longest more. They do this and we continue to be a subpar team the sellout streak will end. When will this long road of dismay, that started when Solich was fired, ever end?

Its too risky the way the economy is and the way things are going in the world right now, think about it guys!

Ask. Northwestern and kansas new dome nfl 65k seat stadiums at vegas. Vik, falcons and outdoor 49r cost just over 1B. South stadium projection of 450m. Is half way to a brand new one where you can have all your amenities for every ticket holder. Not just 20k rich people out of 70k in attendance

Build a dadgum new stadium. This one is 100 years old. Many college stadiums are old and decrepit. Making seating premium and getting rid of grandfathering, bye bye sellout streak. Find a large plot of land land near campus and build a new stadium!

Exactly how the Capitol building was built. Legislature gave money for construction. When it was spent construction stopped until the next year's allotment. Paid for when finished. Took about 10 years but look at the masterpiece that can be built when you take your time.

​@@omahadaveYep. First up Memorial stadium is old and cold. They talk about closing off 25k seats for 2 years. With a new interstate side domed stadium you can start fresh. No more grandfathered seats. Can sell beer from the jump. Will take awhile but will be worth it. Plus as its being constructed you can continue to use all of memorial
