It’s true. I mainly pointed it out bc there’s literally no excuse for eating whales or puffins in Iceland. Some tourists believe it’s a necessity for Icelanders since it’s an island, which simply isn’t true. But I’m with ya on the factory farming. 🐮 🐷 ❤️

Great vids btw! I go to Iceland in a few days and they were helpful. I've watched a lot of vids like this now and yours was the best. Other presenters are often too excitable, artificial and samey for my taste. I hope your channel grows fast, and you and your partner can enjoy more documented adventures :)

Yeah, I actually thought this might be a decent channel until she made that comment. But it's virtually impossible to find girls on KZread who aren't vegans/animal rights activists! This is the part where you're probably expecting me to tell you not to judge local customs when you're a guest in their country, but if I did I would be a hypocrite, since there are some foreign customs I don't support either. So If YOU don't wanna support it, that's YOUR choice, but you're not gonna tell me what to eat, and what not to eat. I've personally always been fascinated with Nordic whaling tradition, and that's just it, it's more about tradition than income or necessity. I see it as no different from killing a cute little deer. Dolphin and dogs on the other hand..... :p That being said, I'll probably check out your channel anyways, as you seem to provide factual information about the places you're visiting, which is rare on KZread.
