How many times do they have to say in interviews that they don't want to repeat past albums before people stop with the whole 'when are the old Hurts coming back'. The 4 albums are all different styles and I love them all, he has a great voice. They want to move forwards not backwards. Happiness was perfected as they said, there's nothing more they wanted to add to it.

Michelle Lyons I get bands want evolve, but there's a reason they should at least stay recognizable and somewhat within the genre they created their success with. Personally I was a huge huge fan, but just don't like this new sound at all. It's not badly made but I can't finish a song, it's so much flatter, lighter, simpler. I can't fool myself. Some might love both styles but I feel disappointed.

I like(d) Hurts because they were Hurts. They had their own unique style. And now this song sounds like any other pop singer/band. If I wanted to listen to Bieber, I would simply do that. But I wanted to listen to Hurts. Sorry, but that's a huge disappointment for me ;/ And I agree with other commenters - creating something exceptional and then replacing it with some mainstream crap is NOT moving forwards ;//

Wool up in an awful mood and saw a message from HurtsVEVO about a new video. Happiness!

This is definitely one of the best songs from the new album. What makes this song interesting is the aspect that it sounds as if it’s a demo. That this isn’t the final version. I can really hear and imagine it to be an uptempo song, with the way the song starts it’s as if Theo’s voice makes the beat, it’s faster then the piano. In the chorus when he sings “if you want to go home, I’ll be your chaperone” I can hear it as an uptempo song. It’s like this song hasn’t reached its final form and maybe that’s why it makes it the most interesting song of the album.

You don't have to love every song, I get that. I'm a long time fan of bands like The Cure and Depeche Mode - they're still around because they evolved. I don't love all of the newer stuff as much, but I'm grateful they're still around and making music :)
