Elvis's life and talent touched so many people's hearts like no other. It's sad to see how sick he was at the end. His mother Gladys suffered her own health problems and died at 46 and I believe Elvis was afflicted with underlying issues. Elvis gave the world his love and his immense talent in every performance. He will always be remembered.

Elvis. Was so so so so. Natural of what he did. A God given talent. You should see when he was in Pitts pa. He layed down on the stage. On his back. In. 1976. New ywars eve and belted that out. Not once. But twice. It was. Mind blowing. Unbelievable. But. The tiger man. Did it. And he did it. GREAT. Standing ovation. On that one. He was so so so. Loved loved loved loved. From. The fifties. Until. Now. He owned that stage when he walks out on it. The. He plugs into the audience. And it is pure raw. 1000000 volts. Of electricity. The mold was broke. Never ever be another. Ain't gonna happen. He loved what he did. And. Did. What he loved. So so so so. Sweet southern humbled soul. He did love God. From. Baby. Up. Gladys. Taught him. The. Way. God bless. Be safe. And. Keep TCB. Girl. You can learn a lot. From. Elvis.

Picasso called that, “Leaving your body outside the room” as an artist, as Picasso aged it was more difficult for him to get on scaffolds and to lay on the floor to create his art. So when he was asked “how do you do still do this?” he just simply answered, “I leave my body outside the room”

Elvis Presley could always dig deep within his being not just to do justice to the lyrics of a song but with Hurt he puts so much emphasis on his vocal prowess to pay homage to his favourite singer the great Roy Hamilton. Roy Hamilton had a hit with "Hurt" in the 1950s when Elvis Presley lived in Lauderdale Courts. Elvis Presley was thrilled to meet Roy Hamilton at American Studios, Memphis in 1969. So much did Elvis Presley love, admire and respect Roy Hamilton that he presented him with a song that he himself was going to record that night. Roy Hamilton died later in 1969. Give ear to Roy Hamilton's "You Can Have Her" and you will hear Roy's influence on Elvis Presley.

That TV special should never of happened.... With the benefit of hindsight we know how ill Elvis was at that time but the colonel was milking his cash cow, and he must of known how ill Elvis was, yet again.... Regardless of how he looked we do get alot of songs where Elvis' voice puts him way above other rock/pop stars and been able to hear those vocals is something I'm grateful for. However at the same time I can't help but wonder with sadness how Elvis was feeling... He was overweight, he had glaucoma, he had insomnia, an addiction to prescribed drugs and alot of things going on inside his mind and body that no one was really aware of....imagine going in front of the TV cameras looking how he did... Imagine how Elvis was feeling about that and the press comments... Remember this was a time before Betty Ford clinics etc....1977 shud of been a year of rest and getting his health back but we know what happened..... Its a tragedy that non Elvis fans see him as a 50s rock and roll singer who went to make alot of cheesy movies and then went to Vegas and became fat and died of drugs.... What they are missing out on is everything else..... The 3 decades Elvis was entertaining us there was far more amazing content in those years than negative stuff but unfortunately tabloids like to focus on the downside.....thanks Elvis and thanks Dani for ur heartfelt comments.

"Opera star Kiri Te Kanawa told Michael Parkinson that the young Elvis had the greatest voice she had ever heard. The tenor Placido Domingo similarly enthused in an interview in Spanish magazine Hola in 1994: “His was the one voice I wish to have had.” Welsh bass-baritone Bryn Terfel told The New York Times in 2007 that Presley was: “… very classically orientated with his voice and diction and very sincere and wanting to get everything perfect.”

Wow!!! To have been in that audience. And not knowing he is going away quick. A masterful voice. Someone who is hated by his own race in the beginning. Risking his very life in the 50s for growing up in a black folks life and not giving a f***who did not like it but stay true to it till the end. Soulful soulful soulful. We cannot ask them anymore but Al Green b.b. King James Brown everybody of that professed to that he was not a copy he was the real deal. The true exponent and creator of rock and roll regardless of Chuck Berry and everybody else. It takes three colors to make blue Chuck Berry and everybody else would those colors but he is the blue that came out of it all colors up in once and unmatched voice he had. What a man

Hi Dani, It is great to see someone in your age group as such a passionate Elvis fan and oldies fan. I'm in my mid-50's and my favorite musical time-frame is the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, amd 1980s. I believe the greatest songs of all-time plus the greatest singers and singing groups of all-time were from those four decades. I am also a lifelong Elvis Presley fan. I have always said that Elvis is, was, and will always be The King of Rock and Roll. Elvis was the greatest singer that the Rock Era ever produced. So far, you have done an excellent job doing reaction videos to many of the Elvis great singing performances. I have several more Elvis song suggestions that I would love to see you react to. Those songs are, "Can't Help Falling in Love", "Memories", "The Wonder of You", "Burning Love", and "Jailhouse Rock". Elvis has classic performances of all of those songs and are easy to find on youtube. Love your channel.

I know, I can hear my father telling me (" man up ") even though I'm 35...but anytime I hear Elvis in 1977 your head takes you to that oh so obvious place of just how little time he had left. 20 / 20 hindsight it's a wonderful thing. I try looking at the positive side, Elvis was given this incredible, fantastic, wonderful, gift, but he was also given the 2nd and more important gift to stay not just humble, but also modesty too, never arrogant. He Never spoke of the work he did for many many charities, He built homes in what he described ( as ghettos ) he spent a lot of time in those very ghettos growing up. Hence gospel and in some ways ( Black Music ) was in his roots .. His poor upbringing, the ghettos would have been a step up for him.. True story he once watch an elderly black couple struggling with their shopping bags and how they had to keep stopping, so Elvis pulled alongside them and put the groceries in his trunk and drove them home and helped unpack the groceries. Elvis then asked a very weird question if he could use the couples phone. Of course they agreed and and after some coffee and snacks. Someone showed up to collect Elvis, because he gave the couple the new Cadillac that he had driven them home in...

He sang this song twice in a row, when I saw him in concert in June 1976. He sang it once, then asked us if we wanted to hear it again. We said yes, so he sang it again. Great both times 👏🏻💫🎤🥰‼️

I'll never forget the day he died. I was driving team in a semi truck. My friend was driving & I had been asleep in the sleeper. I don't know what woke me up,but just as I was waking up, he had the radio on & they announced that the king of rock-and-roll,Elvis Presley had died. We were driving up the W.VA toll road,N. towards Charleston. I was 24 then, I'm 67 now. One of those days you'll never forget where you were & what you were doing, when you heard the news. Just like the day I was riding in the front seat between mom & dad, when they announced President Kennedy was killed. 💔😥😔

Just saw your video about Elvis' song, Hurt. I was at that concert and 7 of his previous concerts and girl, you hit the nail on the head in feeling the magnificently intense impact on how Elvis' beautiful singing filled our souls. Listen to his song, Pieces of My Life. That one will tear your heart out. Thanks for sharing how Elvis' singing touched your young soul!

Elvis got better with age. No one comes close or will ever come close to the man's talent and capability. A man on loan from God left us way to soon R I.P. Elvis.
