I hope the hurricane doesn't rapidly intensify like what happened with Harvey. Harvey was supposed to be a tropical storm in Texas at landfall.

Or like it did a while ago in the Caribbean where it was forecasted to be a cat 1 or 2 and intensified into a cat 4

Don't be afraid to board up because your not sure. Be safe and not sorry. At worst you got a good training day. Lol

Yeah but thanks to harvey we were able to get snow that year I don’t know why but every time we get a hurricane or part of it we get legitimately good cold weather which means we might have a cold Christmas this year

Watching you from up in Houston. You're the first meteorologist I've seen acknowledge that the predictions move further north and east with each model run, and your being up front about that (and how unpredictable that makes things) is really refreshing.

Look for a cat 2 between corpus and galveston

You all remember Hurricane Hannah? She was supposed to be only be a tropical storm. I woke up the next morning and she had rapidly intensified to a CAT 1 overnight! Please don't take these storms for granted! The Gulf waters are VERY warm, and there's no wind shear to stop Beryl now. Prayers from Florida! 🙏🏾 🌀 🤯

She’ll be more than Cat 1 when she hits our coast. Moving too slow and water too warm.

Yeah, but unfortunately they never upgraded their system to handle a hurricane, Because even a simple heavy rain Can wipe out the power, Which proves that corpus Christi texas to this day is still and will never be ready for hurricane.

I've been saying that for more than thirty years, But unfortunately my mother still worries about it Because she's traumatized from Her childhood experience, But seriously if I was like that I would had moved up north years ago, But some people enjoy being traumatized and freak out every time they hear about a hurricane.

They should be careful what they asked for, Unless they are living in a drought crisis.

B's gonna curve right before landfall & move up along the coast. It's gonna get stronger/ cat 3-4 & hit South of Houston. Remember who told you.

Nope! Forecasting is a complex abs fluid science. They are incorporating all sorts of things into the models from upper atmosphere winds to water temperatures.

That sounds great if you don't own a house or live near a bunch of grass, Bushes, and Trees , Because The rain may sound and feel refreshing.But it's usually the aftermath that you have to worry about, Such as roaches, Fire ants, Mosquitos, Maggots, and Especially the humidity, But I highly doubt that you even know about that.
