The truly devastating part of this is - this is the new norm. Much bigger, and stronger... It actually beat an old record storm, and took the spot of being the first ever Cat 5+ storm to form over the Atlantic... its peak winds reached 200 MPH.... so yes, it's worse

NO T H O T S yea Irma is going to change the way we think of the coast. I bet in the next 10+ years we will be having these more frequently and stronger due to global warming which will cause the coast to lose value not good for anyone at all lol people like " global warming is fake " I'm like it is right there the gulf 40+ years ago was cold now it is warm which is what a hurricane lives on sooo don't live near the gulf because it is a very good place for them to get bigger and stronger
