Conditions are not calm where I live in St Ann. Lots of rain heavy winds a few downed trees so Montego Bay is good now but not all the island is like that. 1:53pm Jamaica time.

The hurricane has now made landfall at Catorgory 4.9 (150mph substained winspeeds). It is just a little west of Portmore, Spanish Town and Kingston heading towards Old Harbour Bay. 22:00hrs GMT Summer Time July 3rd 2024.

Hoping the best for the beautiful island of Jamaica and the residents.

What about the poor animals, like that poor dog in the background running - probably was trying to make it to the store for supplies too! Please bring those animals with you guys somewhere safe. There are so many homeless dogs and cats on the island. They're better at finding safe places to hide out but not always and cats more than dogs. :(😢

Why has it happened for zelots such as your self 52 times a year for the last 1950 years? Iesus does not save. His fingers are slipperria than butter with millons dying. If your house is on fire then call the fire brigade and do not bother waiting for Iesus. That is my recommendation. I wasn't able to make any friends in Jamaica. You get off the plane and into a van that winds through the worst slums to get to your hotel. Then you stay there till you leave. Did they ever make weed legal? It was basically an extortion trap to sell a bit to tourists then the police arrive with hands-out shortly thereafter. Kind of place where they steal electronics like seagulls snatch French fries from your hand. They are trying to quiet about it, but like most nations, it is being run into the ground.

Jamaica needs a lot more than just a new government people have become deperate & out of order
