Absolutely. All the tragic incidents of deaths that have happened in the wake of the hurricane is due to the lack of judgement aka common sense. I feel sorry that these people have lost their lives and I am thinking about their families and the grief they're going through but its so infuriating that these people didn't make better judgement.

This need to be so unserious is getting out of hand. On a normal day little rain fall everybody running for shelter BUT because it’s Hurricane these irresponsible people out and making a fool of themselves to prove they aren’t afraid of a hurricane. So stupid to lose your life because you can’t respect that natural disasters are dangerous and you need to be sensible until things are back to normal. What kind of beach day could Thursday be, less than 24 hours after a hurricane. The adults in that child’s life failed her, not to mention the man that died because he was playing football during the hurricane. Jamaica we need to stop being the class clown of the Caribbean it looks stupid not cool.

NO ONE IS ASKING THE JAMAICA GOVERNMENT THE TOUGH QUESTIONS. The poor people need money in the community to buy food. There are more elderly people out there who do not have shelter right now who need to have shelter and food. The government (YOU, AH) is not moving fast enough. The JDF need to be dropping water and food over the island. Why is curfew on the people when the people are the one cleaning up the island? NOT the Government. Where is the JDF they need to be out giving out food and water and cleaning up the island. Where is poor people to get money from to stock up on food ? JDF SHOULD BE DROP OFF FOOD.

I don't think this kind of behavior is helpfull to a country that is a developing state! What we have seen over the past 8 years, is an attemp by the PNP, media to fill the airways with lies, and innuendo, and no report on the manny positive development by the Government of Jamaica. You Guys, are masquerading as a news media for the people of Jamaica, you are a fraud, your leader is a fraud, and there are so many proof out there to support what I'm saying!!!

I would like for the Government to pass Laws to enforce emergency order in time of situations like this . And also bring forth a Infrastructure Bonds issues to excessively invest in JPS. Operational Service's. Water Reservoir. Including proper Bridge's. Also call on Overseas based Professional train Jamaican s to assist with the Consultation and Training of A Professional Army Core engineering Branches involveing all Technical Trade's. So in time of Disaster the Government could easily order the Deployment of these professional to respond to the Citizens needs.

Stop blaming the parents for everything they children do, maybe the little pickney went to the beach on her own unknown to her mother/father if father is even around, bc a lot of these children are so rude, unruly and refuse to take advice.

The startling realities of this country hits me every time I watch the news...2 lives lost unnecessarily... tax payers' money being wasted, environmental destruction and mismanagement...just poor overall. Heartbreaking.

Ppl, most of the roads are impassible, no electricity meaning very little communication: The people need to work with the govmt., to help themselves and the economy: Our people are gone lazy and dependable: The island came this far by har working labour force:Stop that get rich quick overnight behavior, live & love each other & everything else will follow: What happen to coal stoves & woodfire and season and brown/ fry up meats to avoide spoilage or roast up foods: Everythin is going to be a price goaching from now on for a time and everything is going to be two times more expensive becuz farmers have lost their crops by severe flooding: The people better recognize what is happening becuz if they try to steal: they will be killed:😊❤😮

They need to have a policy that trees should not be planted around electrical poles. This would save them future issue like what has happened.

That's stupid because it's an island with areas being mostly rural. Trees were most likely there beforehand and how they reproduce makes it hard to know where one will be. What should be done is the trimming of trees to a certain height so it won't trouble the poles. That too would be stupid because it would be alot of money to do

The parents of the young girl should be held accountable for the lost of the two lives. How can you take a ten year old girl to the beach and allow her to enter the water right after a hurricane? That man also lost his life because of somebody's stupidity.

Just thinking about the family and child who lost their lives at sea: I wonder if its becuz water was cut off and they did have any stored for their immediate convenience they desided to go to the beach and bathe without thinking wisely becuz some ppl are very ignorant about a lot of common sense thinking:???😢😮😊

Jamaican needs to build their homes on a little elevation. That would prevent a lot of flooding. There should be a little staircase leading up to the entrance of ones home

Why are people so shocked by the damages? It was a major dangerous Cat 4 /Cat 5 hurricane with very strong winds, so we should expect these damages. For me, I was expecting my roof to blow off, no matter how strong it is. But it didn't. Thank God But all my fruit trees fell

Impropper drainage system coupled by the residents dumping rubbish in the makeshift drains means flooding is a given. Drains must be maintained in order for the excess water to flow out to the sea...It is important that the citizens refrain from dumping rubbish in the drains and gullies....
