Always wanted an American Bulldog, try a Jack Russell, have had some terrific Pitbulls, got to give abandoned dogs a home and finally got to do the hurricane. Nishat Malik Don't be so sure. The Timber Wolf has a bite force of 403 lbs PSI where the Dogo is at 500 PSI. Just because it's wild doesn't mean it has superior fighting skills. Also if it's a lone wolf it's likely weak and starving. And if you are comparing a wolf pack to 1 Dogo that's a moronic comparison.

Hailey Jarmon Thing is though that here in Australia the dog can still be taken away for simply looking the way it does. Name in the end doesn't matter. If it even resembles a banned breed it can and will be taken from you. Why risk that? May as well just move to where they're legally allowed in the first place. Can't think of any decent breeder of the breed willingly hand over their dogs or pups to someone in a country where there's a ban that can literally end with the death of their dogs. Trying to fly under the radar doesn't help with any possibilities of a change in the Breeds Ban either.

Dogos are the only breed that can track and catch. Most hog guys around here have to run bay and catch dogs. With the dogo it does both.

Most dogs with a good nose arent strong enough for a serious fight. And most dogs strong enough for a fight dont have a good nose. Jack russel and dachshund have both, although they are for small game. A dogo is decent. An actual game bred pitbull from a real hunting bloodline can do it. Not one of the stupid show dog bully pits.

I had a Dobbie too, He was super agressive with strangers and not very socializied (WE DIDN'T SOCALIZE HIM I KNOW BAD) but he was the most loving dog ever for family, My little sister went into his small house and he never even growled at her or did anything he was extremely caring and so fourth. BUT after two years an infection appeared near his testicles so we went to Vet asked what to use he gave us some kind of spray, First attempt one of my parents was holding his neck (just in case he reacts)and the other sprayed him, He did attack but fortunately one of my parents hold him, So i was suprised (14 years at the time) why he did it i kinda realized and thought yes it does might kinda hurt or something but he literally agressively attacked like a stranger so i kinda did tell my parents maybe use muzzle when you spray him so he doesn't bite they didn't after a week he bite dad on his arm since he was spraying after few hours we had no other options but to kill him.. (Eastern Europe) The Dobbie had an issue also with legs he had his staying on his rear legs like German Shepherd wich is unsual.. (His parents were fit and healthy) 1 year ago before our case a women did tell my parent at the VET how a Doberman attacked his father similar case infection on chest but unfortunately his father got bitten on its face, SHE SAID HER FATHER LOVED THAT DOBBIE with all his heart.. I have this questions why would it happend? I kinda realize sociliazing and training are needed and may be one of the reasons but still attacking ur owner (WHO NEVER ABUSED HIM) WE NEVER EVEN HIT HIM OR ANYTHING. (STILL WOULD OWN ONE THYE ARE EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL AND INTELLEGENT.)

Phantom, unfortunately, Dobermans have the reputation of attacking their Owners. As a matter of fact, they come in FIRST Place as the Dog most likely to Attack their OWNERS! I LOVE Dobermans..........always have, and I Always WILL!!!😍😍😍

phantom if you sprayed and it hurt, in his mind he is just defending himself. Use a muzzle. Don’t say, it’s ok baby, it’s ok! Just be matter of fact and get it done. Don’t reinforce the fear. Part of the issue here is that a dog will not bite someone he views as a leader. Dobies are guardian breeds. They are SUPPOSED to be wary of strangers and protect you and your property. To avoid issues, you need to find some resources to train your dog to respond to your direction.

Once again Zeke ,great content big homie 👌!!!! .. I been waiting for a video about hunting with the Dogo ever since u posted up the first video of the Dogo..one thing I didn't like about this video is the fact that they're using bay dogs ? 🤦‍♂️.. the dogo is a lot more than just a catch dog , they do the work of a bay dog and a catch dog together.. they were created to b the ultimate big game hunter so all that baydog talk this guy is doing it is unnecessary when using dogos. Nevertheless hats off to this guy for working his dogs and making full use of their potential.. ppl often just get dogos bcuz of their looks and don't pay attention to any of the dogs needs and thus what they create is an unstable stressed out dog that usually ends up at a shelter and it gives the breed a bad name... aguante el dogo argentino 💪 ( el mejor perro entre todos los perros de presa y el más presa entre todos los perros del mundo) .

Well, I have had a Dogo A for 16 yrs now. and lives in apt. all his life. He was crying over and over in a neighbors yard and finally I asked them if I could take him...I fell totally in love with him and him with me. Yes...it has caused me problems with apartment living. People scared and thinking Pit Bull. I actually had no idea a Dogo and didn't care much about his breed until vet said that is a Dogo Argentino. Yet...he is soo awesome, very trainable with the right person, and very sweet. My Dogo is deaf and didn't know when got him yet he knows all hand and face signals. Just to prove that with love and enough proper training they are soo awesome. Btw...he is from TX. too :)

The dogo certainly is an amazing dog. It's one of the few breeds I'd consider getting if I didn't get an Akita. For me though, the American Akita checks more boxes. While they were originally bred to hunt large game like bear, elk and boar they generally haven't been used for that in a long time. While I would be supremely interested in seeing them take on such a task, I'm not hunting boar or elk or bear so I have no need for a dog with that purpose. My purpose was mainly protection, and home protection by a mind that won't back down and will act without direction if they felt the need to. I also love big dogs and dogs with the wolf-like appearance. I love dogs that I respect, and I do not respect weak minds that are easily broken. I respect strength in dogs and in people. As such, the American Akita is my #1 breed of choice as they are naturally dominant, big, strong minded, independent minded, very protective, loves their family and very loyal but distrustful of others (which makes their affection for you feel more genuine) and are among the most beautiful of dogs.
