@@Joe-jv7ys I don' actually see this one being a problem. It would be more of a gimmick because it would have to stay on surface in order for its aircrafts to start or land. I suppose the only benefit it would have would be a possibility to stay on surface far away like regular aircraft carrier or submerge and stay undetected. Wouldn't be able to do both though.

was a great game but changes made over past year or so have ruined it, player base dropping and huge pay 2 win focus with silly prices. It can be fun if you play with people but often you end up in a team that just crumbles and you get frustrated easy.

@@billdozer_6840 Exactly, thats the problem. New players are able to purchase T7/T8 ships, now they can even purchase the Yoshino (legendary tier) if they spend enough without any base knowledge. These people are the ones sitting in your team either pushing directly towards their death or they are hugging some kind of island or drive to the edge of the map.

Pay to win yeah I guess but if you can't play the game right you're just going to die so it doesn't really matter if you want to pay all that money for a ship if you can't strategize or play the game properly.

It’s not ptw. It’s that less experienced players can play “more experienced” tiers. PtW means u can buy advantages which isn’t true if they are a bad player. Which every comment says 😂

It was the K-19 "Widowmaker", the movie is somewhat accurate, it combined a few of the events into one, but that ship was CURSED.

Good video. Longtime WOW console player here (Ps4). When the carriers were introduced to the PC version, I know there was A LOT of problems, many players hated them and they've been through several reworks. The impression I get is that a lot of players still don't like CVs. They've since come to the PS4, and there is definite dislike for them here as well. Realizing historical accuracy is not exactly a priority in WOW, but their idea of subs is so wildly different from historical submarines that you might as well just say they have wizards on board. One thing I'll say that I expect to see. There are now ships in the game that were built in the 1950s - that DD you were driving first up is one example. That was also when nuclear-powered submarines became a thing. With this in mind, I fully expect to see early-model nuclear subs come to the game, specifically USS Nautilus and the USSR's 'November' class. Presumably, as some kind of Super-Premium sort of deal. My speculation, anyhow.

The best game ever, Eagle best carrier in the game, Kleber best Destroyer in the game. I vaped 127 in one game in that gronner ship. that ship is a funny to run into when it is a full AA build. fun as hell

when the subs were introduced in the game, a tactical game for ships is not possible anymore.

The torpedo tubes are called the bow tubes and the stern tubes.

Are the subs able on World of Warships Legends? and another question is do the destroyers now have depth charges because they have rails/droppers for depth charges on most of the ship in the game?

If they do not ask submarines into world of warships Legends for console then a lot of people are going to be jumping ship to war thunder because of war thunder has plans to add submarines in to its tech trees

Many post-war submarines were based on the german Type XXI. And I don't understand, why the game doesn't start with german, japanese and US submarines, but only japanese and Soviet. Soviet had nothing to offer on that front during the war. But hey, Wargaming is russian and don't really give much for sense and realism.

Uhm that's not actually true at all. Though the Soviet Navy was less active due to its fleet being stuck in the black sea compared to other ww2 nations they did 100% use and have submarines during ww2. They experienced heavy loses but the S class M class and Shchuka (pike in english) or Щука in cyrillic class submarines served in both the baltic and pacific theaters. Just to name a few. Though the pacific theater was during 45 post German surrender. The Soviet Baltic fleet was quite active during the war. On a technical note the Italians and Soviets had the largest submarine fleets of the war and I only attribute the lack of coverage for these nations due to poor performance or doctrinal differences (anti shipping vs anti warship) and direct western interest in Germany Japan and American things from the war. Even the royal navy had a small sub fleet but we never really discuss that either.

Which there complaint is saying Russia didnt have subs. They did op doesnt know what they are talking about in that regard but yes the russian sub they put in is post war and based on german tech. It is a museum boat so probably the easiest one for them to get access to and 3d model

Need subs in legends

Game used to be lots of fun. No more. This guy has clearly been paid to produce this video. CV and subs have almost zero counter play from other classes of ships. Carrier play is to sit at the far edge of the map where no one can spot you or have the range to hit you and just spam endless waves of planes. Subs can submerge, can’t be spotted even with hydro-acoustic search and can launch guided torps at surface ships that are impossible to dodge as they home in on the victim ship. Both are designed to allow noob players to have success in the game, but both Carriers and subs become very boring to play very quickly and these players stop playing the game quickly.

i mean, he disclosed it was a sponsered video at 0:27 as well as the fact there's "_PA" in the account name, meaning "Press Account" where WarGaming gave/lent him an account with all the ships already unlocked.

I thought this game was supposed to be the most realistic?? The ships were NEVER that quick?

if you're wanting realistic, go look at War Thunder, WoWs has never really been focused with historical accuracy, all the ships have always been speedboats compared to IRL counterparts

they broke CV's in this game, and its been shit ever since

WarGaming just loves to think up new ways of ruining their games. Subs are just the latest in the line.

War thunder is less pay to win more pay to grind way easier sales help a lot and make it affordable. If you grind high in the tech tree you can easily destroy premium planes,tanks or ships I always focus them they easy to kill

This is a bad take. WoW is actually pretty balanced. I would say that WT is more PtW.

Just went back and revisited it my self a few days ago and its worse than has ever been. Uninstalled it. I was an alpha tester and it was way better in the beginning.

Sad this shit isn't on console us on console play wow: legends and its completely shit without submarines

dont waste your time on either this or tanks , unless you put money into it "Free to Play remember" know matter what tank or ship you choose you go in as the lowest and with players 2 x above you makes it not fun , played since beta on both pc and console and its now worse than ever

Game looks pretty interesting but I have to be honest, the sub gameplay looks really boring

subs are BS........wont be spending any money on the game until they do something about them.

Played this game for years since Pre Alpha testing. The Matchmaker is simply complete AIDS. 90% of the time the games will be a very one sided affair, 10% of the time (if your lucky) the game will be close & interesting. Spent way too much time & $$ in this horrible game. Never again.

Game is trash

Started off well, but once in the submarine - such a comment in poor taste "to shoot a whale with a torpedo!". Doesn't this guy realise virtually every cetacean species is under threat due to mankind. Even in a computer game, this in in poor taste and sets a bad example. Voted down and will not view this channel again - will also try to persuade all those i know to avoid this channel as well

Besides the awesome graphics and ships rendering nothing this kind of games offer has anything to do with real world realism or historic accuracy. The speed at which the ships move...😒😒😒the maneuvers performed without accounting for small details like tonnage or inertia....firing/ showering heavy artillery like some kind of garden irrigation system....and other and other things😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨....in short if you want to be robbed from your cash and burn out your brain cells in the process you must play this kind of games. You deserve them .🫡🫡🫡
