Hunting PEAK RUT | Getting in Close to Roaring Red Stags on a 5-Day New Zealand Valley Hunt

Спорт

The New Zealand Red Stag Roar is one of the most action packed big game hunts you'll find anywhere in the world. In this years roar trip we struck it lucky hunting an area in peak rut. The valley was going off with plenty of Red Stags making some noise in the remote Southern Alps valley.

Mate you should do patreon, I reckon you have the best hunting and adventure content in NZ, its raw and real and I love the authenticity of what you do and would happily pay to watch your content. Bloody awesome you constantly make me feel inferior as a hunter and remind me I need to push harder, keep up the great work and I’m always looking out for your next adventure. Top notch mate

See at 12.40 the forest is totally poked. Wrecked by deer. No undergrowth biodiversity. When the forest is as trashed as this it only takes a low density of deer to keep it wrecked and eventually oe forest collapses. We have to start thinking about giving the forest a future and restoring its natural healthy biodiversity and undergrowth.

Thank guys, you two always deliver a good video, so thanks again. Lovely to see you leave good stags so they can get better. I'm a long time shooter, but left the hunting part a little too long Grrrr. At seventy, I didn't start hunting untill a few years ago. I started with muzzle loaders, but stalking in is getting harder for me, so now centerfire. Yet to see a wild stag in the bush. Thanks guys

Guys, I normally enjoy your content and how you get out there and do it. Love that you enjoy what you do, and it shows. But, if you are going to represent brands, you really do need to tidy up the language and not highlight it. I'm not sure that all the brands will appreciate this. Why? Well, I'm not going to show my kids this video. If you watch quality productions there is none of this carry on. Why? Because they need to appeal to a wider audience than just their age demographic. Hey, and did you take any meat from that stag you shot? You left it in the sun instead of dragging it in to shade. Appreciate you might have been way back there, but surely you took more than just the antlers?

Hey there, appreciate the feedback. As you mentioned we enjoy what we do and get caught up in the moments - that's why we do it. Watching the footage back we recognized the language wasn't great, hence why we've censored it and tried to make a bit of a joke about it. As anyone who watches our hunts will know it's not usually that bad. It helps us out as much as the brands to have our videos appeal to a wide audience - but ultimately we create them to capture our adventures for us to look back on and enjoy further down the line. Where we are today we aren't professionals making a TV show commercializing our experiences, we're a bunch of mates out there having fun and sharing our adventures for anyone who wants to enjoy them with us. And yeah, we took some meat. Cheers for watching 👍
